Obama's veto tested
I bet you all 137 were Demorats.....and cowards.
Trust me, while you may see dems vote for it, there are enough Dems who are retiring or know they will lose re=election that they will hold the line for a veto proof Senate.... That margin in the house is just BARELY over the veto limit... no way the Senate won’t fall on their swords to sell out america for Obama.
McConnell will disappoint.
You know it’ll never be spun like that. He’ll be vetoing it to restore and preserve American values to the poor refugees.
I live in The People’s Democratic Republic of Connecticut. What difference does it make?
Maybe. There is tremendous downside risk and not much upside benefit to opposing this bill.
not veto proof though.
the Demon Rat party loooooves terrorists.
Now, of course we know that Muzzies hate dogs....and they often referred to Christians and Jews as dogs according to a circa 1860 book...which I no longer have. The writing was done by a citizen visiting the ME.

He will sign it.
oh? it is veto proof. my bad. i admit i was wrong (something Valerie’s charge never does.)
but i agree...it’ll be miraculous if it gets 67 votes in the GOP-e and Demon Rat senate.
Where can we read the actual bill?
This bill is not tied to must pass appropriations and has no teeth. The ‘pause’ would end once the president ‘certifies’ that Syrians have been ‘vetted’ as I understand it
From an article by ABC News:
“Besides the 47 Democrats, 242 Republicans voted for the bill. Opposing it were 135 Democrats and two Republicans.”
Does anyone know who the 2 repubs are?
You have to pass it before you get to see what's in it...
See #25...
Well it may pass the Senate but not with 67 votes so its basically a show vote as defunding is likely not tied to it. At least they make Ofail veto something 69% of America wants.
Mark Levin pointed out this bill does NOT block a single refugee.
It only requires Obama to certify that we’ve REALLY REALLY REALLY screened them well.
