He’s not the only one ... on FOX tonight: “Don’t wait for Uncle Sam to protect you. Every American has a duty and responsibility to be aware of the threat and be prepared to protect themselves,” [Dr. Sebastian] Gorka said.

He suggested that if you live in a state or municipality that allows you to carry a weapon, you should get training and do so.

Gorka said that he believes there are already active sleeper cells in the U.S.

Dr. Sebastian L.v. Gorka is an expert on counterinsurgency and counterterrorism and teaches irregular warfare. He is Breitbart’s National Security Editor and a military affairs fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, founding member of the Council for Emerging National Security Affairs and member of the Strategic Advisers Group of the Atlantic Council of the United States. Gee, I don’t even know anyone who fails to carry, with a permit, and in Texas you can carry one in your car without a license when “traveling” and hotels, which are your “castle”, when in your room.

Oh yeah! This is a win. I am puzzled by the number of CCW permit holders (super easy and cheap in my state - as issue and $10) who don’t actually carry.

Of course, sometimes they have it in case they borrow someone’s truck and the the owner keeps a pistol in it. Wouldn’t want to get stopped and then find out there is a CCW and you don’t have a permit.

I have been carrying concealed more frequently lately, and will continue to do so increasingly. This is subject to change 01/01/2015, when CHL licensees can begin OPEN carry in TX- Thank you TSRA and Gregg Abbott.

Here is why I cannot comply: If I carry my weapon onto a military base and do not notify the military police upon entry, call the armory, and take my unloaded weapon straight to the armory to check it in, I can be in serious legal trouble. All for a one hour visit to the base.

Also, there are many stores that do not allow CCW on their property. Should a customer see my weapon, or bump into it, I can be arrested. And, I am in a conservative, CCW friendly state!
