"In my opinion, Ben Carson's statement dismissing Terri's life as 'nothing,' and Jeb Bush's failure to take action to save Terri, has disqualified them both from the office of president."

Exactly right.

When is Dr. Carson going to blame the attack media for asking him a “gotcha’” question? (sarcasm)

Carson lost me with his endorsement of statehood for Puerto Rico, so this just adds one more nail in his coffin.

And Bush’s (and his brother “W”’s) response to poor Schiavo was nothing short of disgusting.

Besides, Bush would make a better Democrat candidate than Republican.

Carson was losing me after his gun comments and amnesty, but after the island should be a state then that was it for me.

Terri’s situation was a serious matter. Carson shouldn’t have trivialized it (if he actually did).

However, the entire nation didn’t need to be brought into the debate over what to do.

Nonsense, Terri's murder was a pivotal case in American history.

The media used Terri's murder as a test case to see how America would react when death panels were established.

An INNOCENT AMERICAN was murdered by judicial order without due process of law, that's an important event.

The fact that he was referring women to get abortions disqualifies him, in my mind. This bit about Terri just supports the idea that he is not, and never has been, pro-life.

...by the order of a third-rate probate judge, on hearsay from a husband with highly questionable motives, represented by an attorney who was also an outspoken advocate of euthanasia.

Make no mistake. Dr. Carson did indeed trivialze Teri’s plight with his words, “a big ado about nothing”. There’s no escaping the facts that he did say those words and those words clearly trivialize her situation.

I am honestly flabbergasted he has made it this far and with so much success at this stage of the race. It speaks to the utter disdain most primary voters have for the establishment at this point certainly, but it’s time his supporters give up on the fantasy of electing “our own version of an unqualified black man for president”. (Because let’s face it that’s exactly what has carried him for the most part all this time)

That novelty has come and gone and is out of the barn, left the station and is no longer visible in the rear view mirror! The good doctor is DONE!

I think he is “pro-life” probably like most of the country (at least the moderate squishes). He thinks abortion is “wrong, personally” but he “would never think to tell a woman what to do with her body”.

Yeah, he’s that kind of “pro-life”, no doubt.

You mean he isn't a Democrat? I thought he was the token democrat at the debates, you know reaching across the aisle and all that.

Yeah, he's that kind of "pro-life", no doubt.

Which is the exact same position as nearly all Democrats and most Republicans.

Absolutely. The words Carson spoke about Terri absolutely disqualify him.

Terri was NOT DYING. She died only because she was murdered.

The Governor of Terri’s state let himself be intimidated by a pipsqueak probate judge. The Governor hid under his desk while a murder was carried out over a period of days and days. The Governor permitted POLICE to be used to threaten with arrest any person giving Terri a drop of water. (Just as EVERY Governor of EVERY state, for forty-two years, has permitted the police to threaten, and to arrest, anyone attempting to rescue a baby from murder.)

It's astonishing how many people fail to realize that ANYONE will die if they have hydration and nutrition withheld for a long enough period of time.

The Legal Industry murdered Terri Schiavo and Carson says it was not important.

Go away, I will not vote for you.
