The title says exactly what is known. The only addition is that it was being diverted due to a security incident. Flight 65 from LAX to Paris has been diverted to Salt Lake City.
Without a sane immigration policy it is IRRELEVANT how much any country spends on security, irrelevant how draconian they make their laws.
The ironic WOT country winner is JAPAN.
They have their crazies, but I guarantee you that Muzzies will NEVER be able to mount an attack there.
JUST KEEP THEM OUT —that’s the key.
NBC had their “viral video” of the guy in France telling his kid “they use flowers to stop the guns”.
Oh yeah, like it wasn’t islamic terrorists. Again, and again, and again, and again, and again (not enough room to type).
The lies they tell are like the Devil himself.
Agreed! I wonder if the pilots inform the passengers the reason the plane is being diverted while flying or wait until they unload them. Either way the person/people responsible need to strung up
They are the devil himself.
They do seem to be on the payroll.
Terrorists laugh at flowers, candlelight vigils, and marches.
They see them as targets of opportunity and useful idiots.
I can’t believe so much of the world is that stupid.
Read an FR thread at random. A big chunk of CONSERVATIVES are that stupid.
Precisely what I was going to say.

2 Air France flights diverted
This ‘news’ was trending on Facebook Friday before the now well known terrorist attacks. The reports made it seem as if flights were being diverted ON Friday. I didn’t think about it until I was at the office today.
I know some stories don’t make it to FR as often as happened in the past but I didn’t see any thread on it looking back to 11/13/2015.
I see that one of the articles cites a humor publication. The rest consider it fact (including well established tech sites). HuffPoo most recently covered the story.
So was this an accident, a hoax/satire, or something deliberate (or cover excuse for something else)?

Computers Running Windows 3.1 Crash, Shutting Down Parisâ Orly Airport
Airlines & Airports | Rich Thomaselli | November 13, 2015
“Weâre not quite sure if this is hysterical, sad, just plain frightening or a combination thereof.
Paris Orly International Airport was brought to a standstill and shut down on Saturday because of a computer glitch to its operating system â Windows 3.1.
Yep, the system that debuted in 1992 and came off the market in 2001, the system that introduced Minesweeper to the world, is still the main operating system of an airport in a major city that hosts 30 airlines and millions of passengers each year.
The issue came to light in an article published Wednesday in the French satirical weekly paper Le Canard Enchaîné (The Chained Duck), which was very much being serious this time when it reported the news...”

A 23-year-old Windows 3.1 system failure crashed Paris airport
Some of the most important networks and systems today are woefully outdated. And that isn’t always a bad thing.

Two flights, one out of LAX headed to Paris, diverted to Utah.
“I wonder if the pilots inform the passengers the reason the plane is being diverted while flying”
Absolutely not...
The have to keep the sheep on a leash, and not panicking, until they are on the ground.

Is THIS that nuisance level of terrorism that John Kerry said we’d just have to learn to live with???

Lol. FauxNews ‘expert’ saying it could be that they received some sort of phone call. Nothing to panic about, there’s always increased scrutiny after incidents like we’ve recently had.
Face palm.
Article, # 22 , # 25.
Thanks, Velveeta.
Who phoned in the threats about the bomb laden ambulance in Germany (or did that subsequently fall flat)?
Interesting.
After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.
Some music for reflection if the mood strikes you.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.

HAHA! I forgot that Kerry said that...what an ass
Sounds like the “expert” who was just on FoxNews.
