EXCERPT
"There will be an intensification of the strategy that we put forward but the strategy they we put forward is the strategy that ultimately is going to work," Obama told reporters at a news conference at the close of a Group of 20 summit.

1. He’s a Muslim sympathizer and will do as little as possible.
2. His ROE are so dangerous that’s just as well.
I agree. Assad is a genocidal thug. But it’s exactly what that place needs to keep terrorists in line.
The basic requirement is to want to beat ISIS and that is what is missing in Washington.

On calls by some in US to refuse entrance to Syrian refugees, Pres. Obama says, “We do not have religious tests for our compassion.”
Good.
We need boots on the ground to defend us at home.
We have no “side” over there and we don’t even know who is who (and even if we did we’d most likely back the wrong side .... see NY Times article posted recently).
Obama will more than likely put our troops in harm’s way fighting for the WRONG SIDE ... assuming there is even a right side over there, which I seriously doubt.
Syrian is a nationality, not a religion
Who would trust this islamist SOB with anything, least of all commanding our forces against his brethren?
Obama will send a strongly worded letter to ISIS instead.
Ugh, thanks for that.
Agreed.
I don’t necessarily want our soldiers but I do want the US to give giving one dime or bullet to any middle eastern country or group.
In other words, he is putting troops on the ground and when it is reported that we do in fact have troops on the ground, Obama can blame George Bush and these are “residual” troops.
The BASTARD says the above. I suspect that strategy they put forward is not talking about fighting ISSA. That strategy he speaks of is his newly imported ARMY to contain and punish the American People into obedience, or kill those that reject.
Remember Obama really does tell us what he is doing to do, always. We just have not been keen enough to decipher the meaning. After 7 year we're finally catching on. TOO late.
Do I sense that the MEDIA is about to turn on him? They too have to fear what will happen near them as well as us little peons.

“If there’s a good idea out there, then we’re going to do it,” Obama said. “I don’t think I’ve shown a hesitation to act.”
If “folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, present a specific plan,” he added.
The president indirectly rebuked Ben Carson, the Republican frontrunner, for a comment last week in which the former neurosurgeon said that he had better intelligence on the ground in Syria than the White House does.
“If they think somehow that their advisers are better than my joint chiefs of staff or my generals on the ground, I want to meet them. And we can have that debate,” Obama said.
He also took a jab at Donald Trump, another GOP candidate.
“What Iâm not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually going to work to protect the American people and to protect the people in the region who are getting killed and to protect our allies and people like France,â Obama said. âIâm too busy for that.â
He also took Republicans to task for their calls to slam the door shut on Syrian refugees fleeing the violence wrought by IS in their home country, saying that “would be a betrayal of our values.” Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who is also running for president, has said that the US should bar Muslim refugees from Syria from entering the country, while still welcoming Christian refugees.
âThatâs shameful, thatâs not American, thatâs not who we are. We donât have religious tests to our compassion,â Obama responded on Monday. “Our nations can welcome refugees who are desperately seeking safety and ensure our own safety. We can and must do both.”
I, like 99% of all Americans, am willing to put whatever color ribbon on my car that is necessary to defeat ISIS in Syria.
