A mother-of-four was abused while she shopped in Tesco because she was wearing a niqab.

Rahela Chowdhury, 32, from Burnley, was in her local store with all four children when the man approached her and shouted 'why can't I see your face?' 

She was left frozen to the spot and has been so scared she has hardly left the house since the incident on October 3.

Her youngest child, who is only four, also started crying uncontrollably.  

Her abuser, John McDougall, 50, from Earby in Lancashire, has now been ordered to pay victim compensation and carry out 200 hours community service.

Recalling the terrifying ordeal, Mrs Chowdhury said: 'He started abusing me, asking me why I was wearing the full veil.

I think there should be a ban in all Western countries on anyone wearing a burka or a hijab, because too many Muzzies are up to no good, and I trust them no further than I can throw them. I want everything out in the open, and that includes their choice of clothing.

Lying to Westerners is considered a virtue by the Muzzies, so the Muzzie neighbor living next door could as easily be a terrorist wannabe (or an actual one) as they could be a friend. You can’t tell, and you don’t know. And they lie. I don’t want any of them being covered up, potentially hiding something that is detrimental to my and other Americans’ well being. If they don’t like it they can move back to wherever h*llhole they came from.

What I objected to is a rude public confrontation with a blameless individual --- one who has done you no harm. And I will stand by that.

But she's not blameless, don't you see?

She's supporting, raising and participating in the planning of mass murder - and there is no doubt about this. What do you want to have happen before you accept that? How many people must die first?

"No doubt"? You are without factual justification. You don't know that for a fact: not of this woman. You don't even know her name.

All the accusations you want to make --- even if they are generalizations drawn from general social evidence --- cannot be applied to any one individual in the absence of evidence.

This judgment of mine is based on of those Christian and Western values, justice. Defend justice, defend the West.

This Tesco confrontation only proves that the man doing the confronting was an ass. If he is so concerned about ISIS, let him confront ISIS, not some woman shopping with her children. A man who insults a blameless woman and children in Britain because of a massacre in France is just indulging his emotions. As an adult, he ought to have better control of himself.

First thing, though, we, the EU and the UK should stop immigration from Muslim-majority countries, with the exception of people provably fleeing sure exerminaiton, e.g. the Assyrian Christians.

Only the Muzzies try to blow us up or otherwise kill us. Nuns and Mennonites don’t. Therefore Muzzies alone would not be able to wear Burka’s or the hijab. The wearing of these particular items of clothing are not religious based; rather it is cultural (and repressive to women, I might add). If I were Prez, I’d ban them outright.

If Muzzies don’t like it, they can leave our country and go back to the repressive society from which they were originally hatched. I’m sure it would end up in our PC court system, but I’d try it anyway. Because you can’t tell the good Muzzies from the rotten ones. American citizens shouldn’t have to guess the intentions of whoever it is that lurks beneath a Burka. When in Rome, you do as the Romans. Otherwise get out.

Sorry, ma’am, but I must disagree with you on this one. “islamic” garb (lower-case intentional) is the uniform of an invading army which intends to destroy all of us. There is no “radical islam”. There is simply “islam”. There is no difference between an “ordinary muslim” and a “jihadist”. They are all jihadists, and they are all the enemy.

I disagree. A hijab is not a uniform. There are women who wear the hijab who are peaceable and blameless, and other women who don't wear the hijab who would launch an unprovoked attack on you and stab you dead.

Seeing a woman in a hijab jusiifies vigilance, not stupid verbal insults in the grocery store. For activities that require clear verbal communication (which would include most forms of employment, e.g. schoolteacher) or certain visual identification (e.g. the making of legal ID documents), the face should always be uncovered. That goes for everybody, not just Muslims.
