Obama proclaims: 'We are not at war with Islam'

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama, speaking at his summit on countering violent extremism Wednesday, sought to strike a balance between appealing for more acceptance of Muslim-Americans while emphasizing the need to remain vigilant against radicals who could turn violent.
"We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam," Obama said during his remarks, adding later that Muslim leaders "need to do more to discredit the notion that our nations are determined to suppress Islam."
Obama went to lengths before the summit began to avoid linking extremism to the Muslim faith; his intent, aides say, was to avoid giving credence to the ideologies of Islamic State or al Qaeda terrorists.

Correct we are not at war with islam. Islam is at war with us. Islam has always been the murderous aggressor. What would Mohammed do? Look at what Mohammed did to know the answer. Where did islam come from? What were the origins/beginning/the roots of islam? The answer is violence against others to dominate and make them submit or face more violence. What would Mohammed have done in Paris? What did Mohammed do in Medina?

President Obama declared ISIS was contained Friday morning, hours ahead of simultaneous attacks reportedly carried out by ISIS in Paris left at least 140 people dead.
In an interview with George Stephanopolous on Good Morning America Obama asserted that ISIS was not gaining strength and that “we have contained them.
We have always understood that our goal has to be militarily constraining ISIL capabilities, cutting off their supply lines, cutting off their financing,†he said.
When Stephanopolous suggested ISIS was gaining strength, Obama pushed back.
I don t think they’re gaining strength he said. From the start, our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq, and in Syria they will come in, they’ll leave. But you don’t see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain.

After the Hayride broke the exclusive story on 10,000 Syrian refugees possibly resettling in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Metairie, it has now come to light that refugees are already coming into the New Orleans area.
Catholic Charities, which receive federal grants from U.S. Department of State/Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, have apparently taken in two Syrian refugee families already and are expecting many more.
There are approximately 180 cities in the country that are eligible to accept the 10,000 Syrian refugees. Here is the full list of those cities, which includes Baton Rouge, Matairie and Lafayette:

A report by a renowned journalist states that Christians are to be excluded from an impending official United States government declaration of ISIS genocide. If true, it would reflect a familiar pattern within the administration of a politically correct bias that views Christians — even non-Western congregations such as those in Iraq and Syria — never as victims but always as Inquisition-style oppressors. JERUSALEM As I headed to Israel this week, I was curious to read the latest security alert from Barack Obamas State Department for travel advisories.
Since I have been to Israel many, many times over the last 35 years – four times in just the last three years – I take these notices with a grain of salt. Suffice it to say I think I have a better handle on the security situation than John Kerry does.
It turns out State is tightening restrictions on travel for its employees in Israel since the spike in Arab violence that has killed eight Israelis and injured dozens more. In fact, it is prohibiting U.S. employees from traveling to what it calls the West Bank and the Old City of Jerusalem after dark.
Note these are areas with heavy concentrations of Arab Palestinians. Those are the people attacking Israelis, mostly civilians. But the State Department doesn’t blame the perpetrators of these crimes. Instead, U.S. officials blame … the Israelis.
According to State Department “analysts,†the fact that Israel is building homes in the Jewish state accounts for the increased violence. A secondary “cause,†U.S. officials say, are visits to the Temple Mount area by Jews seeking to pray on what they consider to be the holiest site in Judaism.
