Trump has leapt some 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was essentially tied with Ben Carson at about 25 percent. Trump now captures 42 percent of those voters while Carson has fallen off slightly.

Trump is the only one who will protect us. That’s a simple fact.
Good news bump. The entertainment shows are trying to destroy Trump.
I will issue the same caveat with this poll that I would with the ones that showed Trump dropping hard - this is an outlier and needs to be confirmed by other polling before it’s really believable.
Agreed. And as I say ... talk t me in February when people actually start paying attention.
According to some on FR, he jumped the shark and will fade soon.

For me, the fact is I find Trump untrustworthy for his embrace of socialized medicine, for his embrace of eminent domain not for a public use but to transfer one personâs private property to another, for his lack of familiarity with the Constitution and for his mindless bombast.
He is entertaining, but in my opinion he would be a disaster of a President on the scale of Obama. I donât want a "new boss same as the old boss".
And just today Obama assuring us Isis has been contained.
Trump pretty much sewed up the deal with the blockbuster Iowa speech last night. I don’t think any other candidate can touch him. This is Trump’s election to lose.
Good luck with that. There’s not another candidate who will take them on. But your vote, your decision.
Trump needs to include Dearborn, Michigan in his deportation plans. Legal or not.
