The ‘Yale snowflakes’: who made these monsters?

Video footage of Yale students losing the plot over a faculty head and his wife, who said everyone should calm down about Halloween, has caused much head-shaking in liberal circles. And it isn’t hard to see why. The head’s crime was that his wife sent an email suggesting academics and students should chill out about ‘culturally insensitive’ Halloween costumes. It’s okay, the email said, to be a ‘little bit inappropriate or provocative or, yes, offensive’ on this one day. For his wife issuing this mildest of rebukes to over-sensitive over-18s, the head was accosted by a mob of students insisting the email made them feel unsafe. When he told the crowd that he thinks university is about providing education, not a ‘safe home’, they screamed at him to ‘step down!’. ‘Who the fuck hired you?!’, the most unhinged of the students cries.

It is no coincidence that this is going on in an election year.

We need to watch this closely because this could be the Obama way to creating civil unrest in order to stop the election.

We know that big dem donors are going to finance #blacklivesmatter. All of these radical groups will do Obama’s bidding.

Look out ahead, things could get rocky.

My best professor was a mean condescending a$$hole. He used to call the men in the class girls, told several students that they were not cut out to be engineers, and to quit college and learn how to flip hamburgers. The statics course that I took with him had 45 students, and only 5 of us made it to the final exam. After I got the only A in his statics course he stopped calling me a girl, it was one of my proudest moments in my life. He was tough on us for a reason, he wanted us to be the best we could be. He taught me how to think, and how to solve problems. He truly was a great teacher. What is sad is that he would never be allowed to be a teacher in today's pc world.

We might have has the same teacher...our final exam was to work the problem backwards from the solution, thus proving why the solution was indeed correct. It was a take home final exam, use all the resources available too boot! I did not ace the course, but I was only one of three to pass the final.
