Student demonstrations are set to engulf the U.S. today in the âMillion Student Marchâ, as activists from campuses around the country stage a day of protests against tuition fees and student debt, further inflamed by recent social justice protests at Yale and Missouri.
A statement from the activists reads: âWe are people of all colors, genders, and sexual orientation, and we are united to fight for education as a human right.â Protesters are calling for tuition-free public college, cancellation of student debt, and a $15 minimum wage for college workers⦠plus a lot of other stuff about âstraight white male patriarchyâ and rape culture on campus.
The atmosphere is likely to be particularly charged given that the day of protests occurs after a week of political unrest on U.S campuses, particularly Yale and the University of Missouri, over racial issues. Breitbart News will bring you live updates from around the country as the protests unfold.

"I wanted money for school, so I marched too...This one was about 25 miles..."
With all of those idiots thinking they're owed everything, it's nice to see there are still those who are willing to earn it.
Your in HR, you are looking for candidates in Accounting, Engineering, etc etc. not someone with a glorified basket weaving degree.
tell me, would you steer clear of this freaking mess and go to some Division 2 school off the radar with hard working kids that are working on their grades, volunteering, and have a part time job on campus?
I have seen this campus, it will remain nameless....

H/t maggief for this interview by Cavuto with a million student girl. They demand:
1. Free college
2. Complete forgiveness of college loans
3. $15 hour for college student jobs.
I think the level of education they are getting is worth zero any way. I can’t believe anyone would pay money for the crap they are being taught.
We have a small college here in Ky that no one pays tuition for, they work their way thru by doing jobs for the college. They learn woodworking or farming or whatever. Berea College, it was set up to provide a college education to mountain kids who otherwise had no way to pay for it. It has a ton of endowment money in the bank from grateful Kentuckians. As far as I know it is still that way.
In terms of movement-building, [Gamechanger Labs] is in a category by itself.

The controversial Gamechanger Salon network was created by far-left activist Billy Wimsatt, who apparently still moderates the group. Among other extremist positions touted on his Twitter feed, Wimsatt has called for the illegal immigrants pouring across the southern border to be declared “refugees” and has demanded even more draconian attacks on the gun rights of law-abiding Americans. He also constantly spews pro-Obama propaganda. Indeed, Wimsatt reportedly worked with Obama’s 2008 campaign, and he has also collaborated openly with former Obama “Green Jobs” czar Van Jones, a self-described communist forced to resign after his outlandish revolutionary views were exposed.
Now, the founder of the network apparently works as the “Chief Ideas Officer” for a radical left-wing outfit known as “Gamechanger Labs,” according to his LinkedIn profile. Among other schemes, the organization says on its website that it supports “community organizing” and “racial justice” as well as “R&D for the movement” — presumably the “progressive” movement. “In terms of movement building, [Gamechanger Labs] is in a category by itself,” Van Jones, the self-styled communist from the Obama administration, is quoted as saying on the organization’s website. The outfit Wimsatt works for is linked to, among others, the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, according to Discover the Networks.
Some analysts are even referring to the new revelations as “JournoList 2.0.”

That should work nicely with their free dope. Hey why not man?
I bet soros is funding this. He'd give his fortune to destroy this and all countries. Have to wonder what his ultimate goal is.
> ALANA means African, Latino, Asian and Native American
What do they have in common? One thing: they are not “European”
Here's the website of Berea College. I'm not sure it is totally free, but it is #5 in lowest debt (if any). Sounds like a cool place - their x-country running team are champions this year.
Their motto on their symbol talks about God and stuff though, so I'm guessing most of these protesters won't be interested.
Some one or some body needs to explain that if everyone gets $15 (plus $3) that their college degree wage earning value will drop as the slice of the pie leftover is smaller for them. Maybe they really only now think about equal compensation, but once they have their own live’s they care less about the masses.
Berea
A city of Macedonia, not far from Pella towards the southwest, and near Mount Bermius. It was afterwards called Irenopolis, and is now called by the Turks, Boor; by others, Cara Veria. Paul preached the gospel here with success; the ingenuous Bereans examined his doctrine by the Old Testament scriptures, and many believed, Acts 17:10,14; 20:4.
This is where its name came from.
