A painful exchange with a young student who's organizing for free public colleges, cancellation of all student debt and $15/hour minimum wage for all campus employees. She doesn't really know how to pay for it, unfortunately.

To be fair, college shouldn't cost so much. It's costs are artificially inflated by government interference, and if allowed to float on the free market, college education would be affordable by most everyone who wanted it.
Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) is constantly writing about how college costs are hyper-inflated and do not reflect market costs at all.
I say the socialist bastards who teach in those institutions should be the first casualties of their own socialist ideas. Make the greedy bastards work for equal pay, and make it low enough that the peasants can afford it.
You want to stop the socialist crap in the schools? That would stop it in a heart beat. Suddenly we would hear just how very important it is for people with great teaching skills to get more money than the average proletariat drone.

I cringed so hard watching this that I pinched a nerve in my neck. They have no answers to any questions of substance. They want to put up pretty puffy paint glitter posters around the school asking for everyone to vote for them, but when asked how they’re actually going to get the school to lower prices in the vending machines, they can’t answer.
This is the next generation of voters, folks!

Keely — poster child for “Skull Full of Mush.” My God what a clueless (and useful) idiot. She just skewered any career hopes she had except for being a junior assistant professor at Podunk U teaching her blather to newer and even younger SFOM. Unfortunately, Cavuto’s conversation with her reminds me of similar conversations between me and my own daughter...except my daughter is finally connecting the dots between excessive taxes = giving your money to government idiocy = being broke.

Apparently there’s a “million student march” going on now, blocking traffic in Philly and elsewhere. On Twitter, about 99% of the posts are making fun of those idiots.
