Last I knew it was pretty divided into Muslim and Christian sections. This was in a Christian section?

This was in a Christian section? It was in the Hezbollah section in southern Beirut.

There is no way...no way the Lebanese military can allow the return of Hezbollah fighters from Syria back into their country.
It would make their last civil war look like a rugby match.
This is not good. Seems yet another front in this war is starting to heat up. Sadly the spillover is spreading and many innocent Lebanese Christan's (those that are left) will be caught in the crossfire.

Okay. Thank you for the info. My husband visited Beirut a number of years ago during the Christmas season. He said he was surprised to hear religious Christmas songs being played in restaurants. He like Beirut. Then he went to Syria. That was scary.
He was shooting video for a church missionary organization.

I can imagine Syria being scary. He’s braver than I am.

Just wait for President Barack Hussein Obama to continue his import of a quarter-million radicalized Islamic jihadists to our beloved U.S.A.
It will be a sad day when "detonating humans" becomes rather commonplace in coffee shops, malls, post offices, and restaurants here.
Gee, thanks, Obama!

Now it is time for the Sunni Muslims to go after the Shiites. -Tom

Ooooooh...those peaceful, fun-loving moozlums. Wouldn’t it be great if we had more moozlums in the USA?

Thanks rdl6989. I'm sure the bombing will receive the universal condemnation of the entire ROPe.

Beruit used to be the cosmopolitan city for that end of the Med. it’s too bad stuff is starting up again. Things had been pretty quiet there for a while

Hizbollah has men in the field fighting ISIS.
However, their home is a lot closer to ISIS than their Iranian sponsors.
And ISIS will hurt them.
