They can take a short walk off a long path?

Makes me wonder what Archie Bunker would have to say about Rubio.

Slow-motion amnesty is still amnesty.

Anything

that allows

those who entered the USA illegally

to benefit from that

illegal act

is

AMNESTY

and will incentivize

millions more

to come for their amnesty.

STOP

giving prizes to invaders!

Similar to Bush's position, with a few more words and meaningless conditions.

Let immigrants earn legal status in U.S., Jeb Bush says at campaign stop in Atlantic, Iowa

I agree with Rubio. Immigrants should have a very long path to citizenship, one as long as the path my ancestors followed!

Step 1: Go home.
Step 2: Apply for legal entry to the United States.
Step 3: Commence the citizenship process that has existed for generations, the one my great-great-grantparents followed legally.

I hate to tell Marco that the learn English, pay a fine BS is just that a bunch of BS.

Mexicans which make up a majority of the illegals coming across the southern border are highly nationalistic. They have no desire to become US citizens. They are strictly here for the goodies. Letting them stay is just like letting a long term parasite suck the blood out of you into infinity.

Studies have shown that only about 20% of the illegals would come out of the shadows and apply for permanent legalization or citizenship.

There is NO internal enforcement. If anyone in the world can pay for a plane ticket to America, they are free to stay, even if they have Ebola.

The path to citizenship STARTS in your home country.
It doesn’t start HERE.
