Jeb Bush and John Kasich Gang Up on Donald Trump at GOP Debate: Immigrant Deportation Is a 'Silly' and Un-American Idea.
Donald Trump took his build-a-wall approach to immigration one step further at the fourth major Republican debate in Milwaukee Tuesday night when he vowed that, if elected president, he'd deport 11 million undocumented immigrants.
That's when Ohio Gov. John Kasich jumped in to rip Trump's plan, saying, "It's a silly argument. It's not an adult argument. We all know you can't pick them up and ship them back across the border."

After Bush sarcastically thanked Trump for "allowing" him to speak at the debate, he rejected the billionaire businessman's immigration plan as "not possible."
"It's not embracing American values," Bush said. "And it would tear communities apart and it would send a signal that we're not the kind of country I know America is."

Agreed you and I are on the same page when it comes to Ted Cruz. He sounded good last night. I think he is waking up to the fact the working American want an end to open borders. I still don’t trust him to walk the walk but at least he is he now talking the talk.

It was almost funny it was so pathetically desperate.
When they say illegals can’t be sent back, and Trump says we are a country of laws... Please point out the fact that obama did this ... he is lawless and that’s why the illegals are here. To let them stay is no answer. Somewhere in time, we have to turn back the tide of lawlessness... or we are sunk.
Also, when they treat the subject as (rounding up millions).. please answer that picture that is being put out there. It’s not rounding up anyone.. it’s not that barbaric... but there are millions here who are criminals. Clean out the sanctuary cities... clean out those who are in the jails... every illegal who gets into trouble.. send them back! Don’t allow any more in... close that border.. and every one who is found, put them on a bus/plane/train and escort them back over the border. We are the only nation who has such an open border. It’s not inhumane to deport... it’s cleaning up a problem the government has allowed to happen. Somewhere we have to get control of things... and it’s long overdue.
Every time I hear the old GOP and the dems argument over things like this.. the old way of doing things.. or obams way of doing things.. I want to YELL... We can’t keep this up... Rubio is not change enough.. Christie is not change enough. None on that stage is change enough but Trump, Cruz and Carson. I love Carson but don’t want him President unless Trump and Cruz were not in the picture.
I heard O’Reilly say last night, he didn’t want hillary just beaten.. he wanted her destroyed.. and he pretty much said Trump was the only one who was not afraid to destroy her. I agree!!!!! Trump is so needed because of the decay and all that has taken over in our government.
I found Kasich’s behavior last night both insulting and patronizing. I wish he would go away and take Jeb with him.
It’s not just illegals from Mexico.. it’s illegals from all over. they are being allowed to travel across Mexico to enter the US on our southern borders. And they are not assimilating into our country... they are trying to set up their sharia laws.. their cities.. they are trying to shut down Christianity in our schools, our government and our lives. This has to be stopped and cleared out.. completely. The years our Presidents have let this happen, has brought us to a divided country and the destruction of what has made us great!
Whether he meant it or not, he had the right idea.
No politician is perfect. While I strongly support building the fence on our southern border, it is loco to suggest the Mexican government is going to pay for it as one candidate has suggested.

because even if you can temporarily shut the borders —the illegals who become citizens will all go to the democrat party which will in turn open the borders again to another wave of illegals so the dems can get still more votes.
most of the newcomers like most of the current crop — will go on the government dole where the democrats can lock in their vote.

You could say the same thing about criminals, period! Why bother picking them up and jailing them? They are only going to get out again! That's a stupid argument!
Yes, you can pick them up and ship them back across the border! It will be a hell of a lot cheaper than allowing them to live FREE off of taxpayer's for a lifetime! And besides, they are CRIMINALS! They broke the law. Do we get to decide which laws we are going to enforce?! Why have a law in the first place if it means NOTHING to a certain group of people. They get a pass, WHY?!
The argument that we can’t deport 18 million illegals is stupid. If we clamp down on employers who EMPLOY illegal and don’t give government benefits to illegals then you can bet that a large number of illegals would leave and you can also bet that not a whole lot would come streaming in. Self deportation.
Ike had Senators Prescott Bush, Jacob Javits, John Sherman Cooper, many may RINOs in fact.
Senior Amnesty has competition in the stupid contest. He doubled down and told Hannity he wants green cards for illegals.
Ike was by most standards a moderate Republican, perhaps even a liberal one. Yet even a moderate Republican in the 1950's was willing to do deport illegals, something that not even many of the most "conservative" are willing to do today.
I'm not sure where the ones you list stood on the issue - they may have been the liberal wing of the GOP, but there was no political correctness or multiculturalism to infect their brains back in the 50's.
He stuck up for Trump after the others blasted their liberal BS. He did not specify his approach.
Why just focus on 10%? THEY ARE ALL ILLEGAL. Illegal means they broke our law.
And that's why they are my two choices, and that of many others. We'll see if American voters get their way, or if the ruling elite do.

I used to believe that. Now I think they should be sent/taken “home” and never should be allowed back in to America. They’re proven criminals by the fact that they sneaked in to begin with. Do we really want people here whom we know for a fact will not obey laws? I don’t.
I agree, he’s the best on it—but even Trump wouldn’t enforce existing laws.
If he did, those illegals whom he sent home on his touch-back system largely wouldn’t be eligible to re-enter the US, let alone do so with legal residency.

No, the PC of that day was opposition to “McCarthyism”, and Ike was a leader in that move; so was Prescott Bush. Bill Clinton praised Prescott Bush in a 1992 “debate” with the hapless GHWB.
