According to a new a report from the Heritage Foundation, Sen. Ted Cruz is just about the ideal presidential candidate.
Heritage Action, the political arm of perhaps the most respected think tank in the conservative movement, which is now run by former South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, had almost nothing but praise for Mr. Cruz in its first ever presidential policy scorecard.
One of the report’s most stirring salutes involves Mr. Cruz’s regular campaign promise to actually do what he says, instead of getting distracted by the many trappings and sellouts of Washington, D.C.
Put another way, he won’t lie to you and is known for, um, having a pair.
“Like many other candidates, Senator Cruz has articulated a firm commitment to limited government principles,” reads the report. “He stands out from the field for his willingness to use all available leverage to fight for those principles, even when the battle is uphill.”
....
All of that should bode well for Mr. Cruz’s chances of finishing in the top three in the Iowa caucuses come February, which has been the historical measuring stick for those who eventually go on to secure the Republican nomination for president.
...
Mr. Cruz, on the other hand, is at his very best when addressing controversial policy and ideological challenges. His winning debate performance last month rested on his ability to rattle the cages of the liberal press without coming across as a victim, which will be a vital asset for each and every issue the future president of the United States decides to champion.
...
Navigating that cultural minefield successfully is going to take near-perfection from our nominee. According to the Heritage Foundation, Mr. Cruz is the one best prepared for such a time as this.

High Praise indeed!
Nice!
Very good.
“ALL AVAILABLE LEVERAGE TO FIGHT”
Who else can you be sure of?
It is “high praise”, and it’s true. But about Heritage, who has a past of really making a difference in DC as a policy institute favorable to conservative issues, didn’t they go a little wobbly on some no-brainer a couple of years ago?
Heritage has not been big on stopping illegal immigration, or reversing the invasion with deportations, right? Am I wrong?
Some of our presumptions about who our pals actually are on the subject of the fundamental transformation of our country has fallen flat. I hope I’m mistaken about Heritage and who they have supported on some of these issues.
The infiltration of our political advocacy groups is ongoing and incomplete.
Unfortunately The Heritage Foundation is pro- globalist Agenda 21 or 2030 and all the other treasonous international plans that would see America eviscerated in al but name. Conservatives need to wake up to the fact that the establishment conservative groups and think tanks are part of the problem. It is too depressing for most and tin foil hat stuff but unfortunately it is treason and happening in this generation for all to see.
And .. with his exceptional skill of being able to remember every word that is spoken (in his presence), he has the definite upper hand in any kind of debate.
I’d never heard of such a remarkable skill before.
The guy is just amazing.
He has a lot of God-given Talent. I just pray that more and more people will get to know who Ted Cruz is.
Have you been able to watch some of the videos available - the ones where he gives speeches to very, very large crowds of people ..??
It’s just amazing to watch him. I can’t recall that we’ve ever had such a smart President before. Hmmmm ..??
And, when you watch the speeches you see the audiences give him standing ovations all the time. I never see any of that action during the Rubio or Bush speeches.
Go, Cruz, GO!!
Sources please.
A bunch of RINOS.

ping to reply comment.
Agenda 21, may be what I was connecting to Heritage, but I can not recall off hand.
I know our conservative orgs have been too quiet and that is telling. Establishment has creeped in everywhere, because they know how to do it.
It doesn’t matter because Ted can’t beat Hillary and he needs to know his role.
Cruz or lose!
I think you are wrong.
Ten-Step Checklist for Revitalizing Americaâs Immigration System: How the Administration Can Fulfill Its Responsibilities
http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2014/11/ten-step-checklist-for-revitalizing-americas-immigration-system-how-the-administration-can-fulfill-its-responsibilities
These 10 policies are:
Overriding and removing existing executive orders, agency memorandums, or other executive policy directives that ignore or contradict existing law;
Allowing immigration agencies to enforce and apply the law without workplace interference, political pressure, or procedural obstacles;
Providing the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency with a fully operational system of sensor and camera technologies and infrastructure on the southwest border to multiply the efficacy of their efforts;
Using the appropriate judicial and administrative tools efficiently to remove and return unlawful immigrants to their home countries;
Increasing enforcement against businesses that knowingly employ unlawful labor;
Engaging with international partners and remaining committed to citizen security and democratic governance in the Western Hemisphere;
Making U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), more efficient and effective;
Reporting accurate immigration data to Congress and the American people in a truthful, consistent, and complete manner;
Soliciting the assistance and support of the states in enforcing immigration laws and limiting the effectiveness of those governments that attempt to frustrate enforcement with sanctuary policies; and
Verifying the success of these actions through honest and accurate Census survey data of the unlawful immigrant population.
They are for enforcing existing law, which includes double fence, strict workplace enforcement and deportations.
LOL. Sarcasm?
I love Ted but, No Wall = No Future.
