The Obama administration is praising protesters who successfully forced University of Missouri President Tim Wolfe to announce his resignation.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest praised the group of protesters for rallying together and demanding change, pointing out that Obamaâs first presidential campaign was embodied by the same spirit.
âI think this also illustrates something that the president talked a lot about in the context of â in his campaign, that a few people speaking up and speaking out can have a profound impact on the communities where we live and work,â he said during the daily press briefing today.
The group of students accused Wolfe of enabling âa culture of racismâ on campus and ignoring student concerns about recent events. Wolfe resigned after members of the college football team joined the protests, saying they wouldnât suit up for the next game.
âThatâs the kind of dialogue and work and unity that the Mizzou community is going to need to make progress on this issue,â Earnest said, in reaction to the decision calling it âa testament to the courage of the people on campus.â

I’d take SI Hayakawa any day.
“Demonocracy.”
The idea of a democracy was a more or less fair plebiscite after a more or less fair debate. This has made a mockery of the concept.
Obama’s race wars are lynching more and more non politically correct enemies of the junta.
I used to not want him to assume room temperature because he would be a martyr the likes of MLK x100. Now I am leaning toward ...
Bastard. Hateful, smug bastard.
One thing though... this is feeding into Donald Trump’s support. He’s gone on a crusade against political correctness... not even Ted Cruz is that forward about it.
This might be one last spasm of defiance before We The People really discover that not only do we have enough, we really have the power to call it enough, too.
OMG-God help us all(can I still write that?)!
Down with Whitey.....That’s all this is.
Tend to agree, Trump is the champion of fighting political correctness and indeed many people are sick and tired of PC.
This is all going to end very, very badly.
WaPo’s “The Fix” column on this features analysis by a Berkeley professor thats a tacit endorsement, even encouragement, of mob justice.
At some point this WILL spread beyond the “Safe (for destruction) Zones” of college campuses and urban cores to place where the mob will confront people who aren’t willing to cave to the mob’s demands AND outnumber and out gun the mob by a considerable margin.
“Change” is long-time commie lingo. As is “Forward”, “Progress”, and “Transformation”. Others may of course use these as well, but when the hard left does, there’s no doubt what they are referring to.
Great “victory” for the Left, but what does the next President of Missou have to do to satisfy the thugs at the gate?
Because he is happy to see this country slide into atheistic collectivist materialism, with a tinge of fascism.

Mao praised the Red Guards too.
It didn’t bode well for the rest of the country.
Anyone who wants to know about the Cultural Revolution
can read “Life and Death in Shanghai”, and read about
one woman’s experience of the Red Guard.
Actually, Wolfe didn't stand pat against PC at all. He apologized profusely and grovelled before them like a simpering lap dog.
And he still was lynched by the Red Guard!
Why shouldn't Valerie Jarrett and Obama take credit for all of this, these two are almost certainly behind the scheme that resulted in the resignations.
I thought of him the other day. Marveled at how things have changed over the last 50 years. It’s like I’ve lived through a slow motion French Revolution without the tumbrils...yet.
This is part of the Ferguson effect...
It’s, for me, a waste of time to pay attention to the paid liar josh earnest says.
But Missouri will pay a price for it’s idiocy.
