The global taxers are after you

...look at the consequences of the war on drugs and the war on money laundering and tax evasion. The global war on money laundering and tax evasion has failed in the three decades since it began in earnest, and it is now on its way to undermining the rule of law around the world, the legitimate role of financial institutions, and the right of sovereign governments to determine their own tax policies.

The new anti-money-laundering laws and regulations have resulted in millions of Americans who live abroad and others living outside their home countries being unable to get bank accounts and other financial services...

...even though money laundering is almost impossible to tightly define ” being a crime of intent rather than action.

Most businesses are taxed at individual ” not corporate ” rates, because they are set up as sole proprietorships, partnerships and LLCs. You can be sure that the next effort will be to establish a minimum tax for all businesses everywhere on the globe, which will be quickly extended to all individuals. What right does the United States or France have to tell other countries what their tax rates must be? As global taxes are increasingly implemented, Americans and citizens of other countries will lose their democratic right to determine their own taxes ” and Americans will be right back where they were under King George III. What happened to no taxation without representation?

My wife is not a US citizen. We have to keep everything completely separate. I cannot even be listed as a beneficiary or heir to her company.

US tax laws are obscene for ex-pats

Its all part of the "New World Order" of taxation because the control of money determines control in this 'Global Enterprize'.

Let's make that obscene for all Ameircans.

I've known U.S. travelers abroad who say when they have foreign gov't problems that after they get told by the U.S. embassy to kiss off, the go to say, the British embassy saying hey, one human to another please help me out.  Other embassys don't hate Americans as much as the U.S. ones do and they're willing to do what they can.  That, and the enjoy sticking to the U.S. dignitaries at embassy parties...

Good, nobody was hurt —physically that is. That feeling must be such an extreme violation. We’ve not been robbed tho we’ve been burglarized a couple times. When we called the police we had to pay the cops’ cab fare to check the place out. A recent ‘incident’ here had greatly stepped up surveillance and enforcement. Too bad they waited for something bad to happen tho.

That was a horrible Christmas.

The only really funny thing is when we were filing all the reports at the Shenzhen Police Station there was a room with computers where the police were supposed to be looking for web-sites that were anti-PRC. instead all the cops were playing “Grand Theft Auto”
