DALLAS – Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump named Katrina Pierson, a Tea Party activist from Garland, as his top spokesperson on Monday.
"Katrina understands the need for real change in Washington, D.C. and the importance of competence in the next election. Katrina will continue to be a great messenger as I share my vision to Make America Great Again," Trump said in a news release his campaign issued Monday afternoon.

I’m not seeing any real connection between her and Ted Cruz. The article is a hit piece, to make it sound like people are defecting from Ted Cruz’s campaign. But I’m just not seeing that.

Trump has already done mire than all the other candidates combined - NOBODY would be talking about illegal immigration if it weren’t for him. And he’s masterfully handled the media, showing their bias and leading the way for the other candidates to rebel.

Really. Why on earth would anyone vote for a impetuous faker with a Tourette-like approach to social media. Trump’s a Democrat, a union Democrat. He’s a white Obama, only he likes America. So in a race between Obama and Trump I’d take Trump, but he’s still a Democrat. He’s better than Clinton, but he’s no conservative and never will be.
I agree that Trump is in the mire. He’s a monomaniac and the focus of his devotion isn’t America or conservatism, but himself. He’s his biggest fan, so you’ll have to get in line.
PS he’s not done a single conservative thing at all. He’s done what every white union Democrat has wanted to do - go after illegals and kick the media around. They do it all the time. Just go to any working-class bar in a union neighborhood and you’ll hear them screaming at the TV... Just like Trump.

You do realize that Trump is the Man Who Can Make a Plan Work right out of Hayek’s Road to Serfdom. Once Trump Perot’s his way out and readies the road to the WH for Mrs. Rodham who will you vote for?
The headline erroneously implies that this woman left the Cruz campaign to join Trump.
She did not. She helped Cruz in his election to Senator but there is nothing to indicate she was ever on his campaign.
The Dallas Morning News hates republicans and it hates Cruz most of all.
