Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is challenging media accusations that he exaggerated his tough childhood by sharing a magazine clipping from a 1997 article in which his mother verified the claim that he tried to stab a friend in ninth grade.

Why does a personal anecdote about a childhood incident need to be verified?
Hillary doesn’t have to explain why she tells verifiable lies about things she did as Sec State.
Imagine wanting that story to be verified. Great! One of our candidates really tried to stab someone!

Carson must be destroyed. There is no Borderline Personality Disorder, like Anita Hill, to do the dirty work. The MSM have to get their hands dirty.
On a different note, does it bother the Trump supporters (sort of life O’Reilly supporters) tat he only attacks Republicans and happily gives money to Democrats?
Okay, he was a thug when he was a teenager. Now we can start talking about his support for TPP and amnesty.
I hope you are right about this and all the other bs gotcha questions concerning Ben Carson’s book. It’s time to see our candidates go after Hillary. I want to see if they can beat her and win.

She confirmed a lie. Carson said it wasn’t a childhood friend. It was a relative. Also, the matter of fact way she explained it away is bizarre. Trying to murder someone is not bullying.
Or why she stated she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, or why she said she was shot at when landing in Bosnia, or why she said Chelsea was at ground zero during 9/11, etc. etc. We only live in a free nation when those who report the news do so accurately and without an agenda.
IIRC, this was the same year he separated the twins.

Why would his mom say this about him in the news!? I would never highlight my sons’ stupid moves as children because they are not honestly depicted by mistakes or flubs they made as children. They are successful men. I don’t get any of this.

I wasn’t posting about Carson.
I was mocking neocon1984 for either his lying, or for being so uninformed, depending on his level of knowledge.
I’m sort of liking this derangement, although it’s somewhat unsettling that longtime Freepers have become so deeply infected so easily.
I was sure the syndrome would be found primarily in the uneducated Left, not here at FR, where we claim to be politically informed.
