In his 1990 autobiography, âGifted Hands,â Mr. Carson writes of a Yale psychology professor who told Mr. Carson, then a junior, and the other students in the classâidentified by Mr. Carson as Perceptions 301âthat their final exam papers had âinadvertently burned,â requiring all 150 students to retake it. The new exam, Mr. Carson recalled in the book, was much tougher. All the students but Mr. Carson walked out.
âThe professor came toward me. With her was a photographer for the Yale Daily News who paused and snapped my picture,â Mr. Carson wrote. â âA hoax,â the teacher said. âWe wanted to see who was the most honest student in the class.â â Mr. Carson wrote that the professor handed him a $10 bill.
No photo identifying Mr. Carson as a student ever ran, according to the Yale Daily News archives, and no stories from that era mention a class called Perceptions 301. Yale Librarian Claryn Spies said Friday there was no psychology course by that name or class number during any of Mr. Carsonâs years at Yale

I haven't seen a single post on FR from someone who is going to vote for him.
But he's "leading" in the polls.
This guy is a liar , he's Herman Cain without the pizza.
Carson and Hillary are similar kind of people.
The change came after the time of the church fathers and it was officiated by Constantine.
However, I we are forgiven by Christ for our errors in understanding and that as long as you are a disciple of Him, you are saved by Him.
I have no idea, I find the Bible to be boring.
I listen to the Priest read on Sundays, get my cracker and then try to do good works.
Wasn’t Constantine a Roman?
Entirely false. I just provided a link with early Christian writings starting in the last 1st century all referring to worship on the "Lord's Day," aka the first day of the week.
"[L]et every friend of Christ keep the Lord's Day as a festival, the resurrection-day, the queen and chief of all the days of the week. (Ignatius, Epistle to the Magnesians, chp 9. Ante-Nicene Fathers , vol. 1, pg. 62-63.)
Jewish time keeping is from sundown to sundown. Is it more likely that they still kept the Sabbath and their gathering together, as indicated by the lit lights, was just the continuance of a long day of worship, or that they gathered together in the evening specifically for the change of the new day and have Paul take off Sunday morning on his journey?
Either way, there is no divine change of law indicated.
It’s still not a divine ordinance. Paul also warned about those in the church who were not followers.
The media has not shown Carson as a liar, in fact the the media has been shown to be the liars as far as Carson (or anything else frankly) is concerned.
That said Carson’s stories are hard to verify and so naturally they are also hard to disprove.
How different things might’ve turned out for this country had Obama gotten this kind of vetting in 2008...
They don’t even try to hide the fact that they’ll do anything to protect Obama or any liberal black. But conservative blacks are fair game. I guess that makes them politically racists.
Technically Christians can meet any time, anywhere, as Christ is our Sabbath. But it is straight out incorrect to allege that Christians have not been meeting on the Lord's Day, Sunday, for almost 2000 years, to break bread and to worship.
It worked for me also. Thanks.

Apparently Google has inside track into WSJ articles.
Breaking bread does not indicate worship. It’s the only way those loaves could be eaten, as they were simply lumps of dough.
It is also incorrect to assert the change has a divine basis, which it does not. The change was largely because of unconverted people reaching high church office who made the change to obtain political favour from pagan authorities and to make a clear separation from the Jewish faith to avoid prosecution.
I think Ben’s gonna start to fade. The last straw will be the media digging up his Hawaiian certificate of live birth and showing how it was forged.
I think we’re gonna end up with a Trump-Rubio battle with maybe Cruz in third.
Agenda much noob?
Well at least they don’t eat the body of Christ or drink his blood.
It is not because he is black.

"No photo identifying Mr. Carson as a student ever ran, according to the Yale Daily News archives [...]"
Possible explanations:
A. Mr. Carson was indeed photographed, but the photograph was never published.
B. The Yale Daily News archives lost the issue containing his photograph.
C. The photograph appeared, but without proper identification of Mr. Carson (misspelled name, no name, etc.)
D. The photographer falsely identified himself as a member of the Yale Daily News staff, but in actual fact was a freelancer - his photo was rejected, and published instead in the "Yale Shopper."
E. Mr. Carson's memory is failing him here. He is either conflating this event with some other event during which he was photographed, etc.
ad 2: "[...] and no stories from that era mention a class called Perceptions 301.[...]
Possible explanations:
A. Newspaper accounts of that event did in fact appear, but for some reason do not mention a class called "Perceptions 301" or incorrectly identify the class.
ad 3: "Yale Librarian Claryn Spies said Friday there was no psychology course by that name or class number during any of Mr. Carson's years at Yale [...]"
Possible explanations:
A. Ms. Spies is mistaken (didn't investigate thoroughly enough; records are faulty; etc.)
B. It wasn't a Psychology course, but rather a Sociology course.
C. At the time Mr. Carson was enrolled, the course was actually called "Advanced Perceptional Psychology," but was later (while Mr. Carson was writing his book) renamed (for two semesters) "Perceptions 301" - Mr. Carson chose to use the then-current designation.
