If I were the republican candidates, I’d reassure the pipeline folks in private talks that would have had to wait for the end of the Obama regime anyway, so just hang in there for another 14 months and it will go through.
You are so right.
IIRC the State Dept. approved this several years ago but Bambam nixed it, now all of a sudden Bambam says State made the decision to shoot it down.
This is outrageous and any candidate not willing to condemn this abomination is not worthy of consideration.

Ali Obama is a jackass
They can, if they have another open season of getting commitments from companies to use the pipeline to move their oil, another environmental impact study period, another round of public comment, etc.
Years after the application is submitted to approval for a border crossing pipeline.
Yay! We get more oil moved on rail for higher expense!
Absolutely. Check post #24, Cruz has already and we certainly know Trump will be all over this.
This is nothing more than a ‘rescue’ for the dems for the next election by eliminating the issue. A win for the left wing environmental whackos too.(those who write the big checks)
Unless it is Hillary.
can someone educate me on why they canât they resubmit the application when we have a real president?....Maybe, just maybe, Canada got sick and tired of playing childish games with us and sold the oil to the Russia.
Gets Hillary off the hook.
But opens the door very wide for Trump to go after union votes by promising to build it aggressively.
Obama’s America at work once again.
Dead deal. The Canadians are beefing up pipelines to the BC coast, and they’re selling that oil to china. And for the NAFTA naysayers out there, the US is the one that broke the deal.
Don’t forget to mention jobs for Teamsters and other unionists.
Care to re-phrase that observation again?........LOL.
Fine. It will just make Trump a bigger hero when HE approves it.
Did we expect anything more than rejection?
Everyone knew this bass turd would try to kill it in the last year of his reign. Canada should have made their XL deal with.China years ago instead of dealing with our incompetent poseur.
Seven years of foot dragging makes this not a surprise.
