For the last few years, climate hysterics have demanded that government prosecute those who disagree with their notions of climate change. The New York Times is reporting that New York's attorney general has opened an investigation into ExxonMobil, accusing the oil company of making false statements about climate change to its investors while its scientists were telling company officials of the dangers of global warming.

Public executions of deniers?
Crucifixion of deniers, carried out by the White Mosque,
and the Moslem Brotherhood, enabled by the GOP?
Count on it.
Somewhere in Hell, Torquemada is laffing..................
If I were running Exxon/Mobil, I would do exactly what NY wants. Lower their carbon footprint to whatever the millions of people add daily and nothing more. Embargo the State, allow them to burn furniture, coal, books or whatever they need to survive.
“NY attorney general to be investigated for investigating Exxon for denying climate change”
When is someone going to hold the scammers accountable for promoting the Climate Change Hoax????
I like your idea. Exxon and all oil companies should refuse to sell to anyone in NY. They could send a flyer to each resident telling them which government grifters are responsible. Let the public deal with the liars in government!
What’s to deny? There is No man made Climate Change. If the Earths climate changes its because the Solar gain has either increased or decreased.
We have No control over the Suns output. You’d think even stupid democrat liberals would know that.
Really? With the amount of money these assclowns are pulling down from the scam-o-rama? You know how some people get when someone tries to mess with “their” money. Which they believe they’re entitled to. Cause they’re doing it for the good of humankind and the erf. LOL! kinda
With all the information available on the falsity of the CAGW/Climate Change scam, I can see a good set of lawyers bringing the entire house of cards that Gore/Hansen built down in a jumbled heap of scorn.
It will/would be GLORIOUS! (In my best Duros imitation)
Well at least they could pass some legislation putting restrictions/limitations on what the sun is “allowed” to do and when.
It’s a Test ,if they can Railroad Exxon ,they can Railroad anyone
So they are attacked by Big Brother and the MSM.
One of those Keep It Simple Stupid things.
Agreed except that the courts will (at someones direction) refuse to hear the case. Sad dang sit-cher-ation. And they think folks are angry now? Keep it up.
“Well at least they could pass some legislation putting restrictions/limitations on what the sun is âallowedâ to do and when.”
I’d like to see the State of New York Prosecuting the Sun for doing what comes naturally.
All ExxonMobil needs to do is depose those who are pushing the Climate Change Myth under threat of Perjury and jail time, and see what happens...
“We have No control over the Suns output.Youâd think even stupid democrat liberals would know that.”
Well, they really do know that, it’s just that the truth is “inconvenient” to their goal of controling the populace.
I wouldn’t be surprised if EXXON relents and settles out of court. In fact, in the future, I predict that EXXON will go the opposite way and promote that global warming is happening; they will decide it would be more profitable for them!
Why should the farmers and rural and small town citizens of beautiful upstate and Long Island regions of New York be punished (more than they already are) for the idiocy of Albany and Manhattan? In many small hamlets and villages around the Finger Lake area, for instance, Exxon is the only gas station for miles. I just don’t get the knee-jerk reaction of some people.
OKAY, just embargo those who vote for Liberals. Since that is impossible, why subject themselves to the pain? Someone else can step in and supply the needed energy. Maybe the Feds can park a few Carriers in the harbor and hook up power lines. Elon Musk can donate a few million cars, maybe even Toyota and GM too.
