Ben Carson Friday told CNN that its story questioning his accounts of violence as a youth as "a bunch of lies" and a "pathetic" attempt to distract him and the public from the real issues that are important.

He also complained that he is being vetted in a way that President Barack Obama and presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton are not.
"What you all did with President Obama doesn't even come close to what you guys are trying to do in my case," he told her. "You're going to keep going back, trying to find, he said this 12 years ago. It is just garbage. We have too many things that are important to deal with."
And as for Clinton: "Do you ask her the questions about veracity of what she's done? I want you to go back and ask her some real questions about what happened at Benghazi. I want you to ask her, did her philosophy include not knowing anything about what was going on in all the foreign territories over which she was responsible?"

Thank god our candidates are finnaly standing up to the liberal media and calling them out for the scum liberals they are. I just wish more of our already elected representatives would do so.
What they DIDN’T DO, Dr. Carson! They didn’t do ANYTHING to find out who BHO was! They still don’t!
Interesting theory. Hillary would wipe the floor with him.
If he was a democrat before last year, soft spoken gentle Ben seems like a nice democrat who doesn’t mind playing the role of a mop.
Trump wins these kids of exchanges. Carson doesn’t necessarily as it works against his calm and cool persona.
Well good for Ben, it’s about time someone other than Trump stuck it to the media.
I don't think they will 'chew up carson' but if they do and then try Cruz, it will be like a baby chewing on a porcupine.
He is handling it. He is asking the left to vet Obama and the witch. Just like he should be.
As she has put it ‘it’s my turn’ and she will do anything to get there...
I wonder how much she paid Pubus to lie, cheat and anything else to blind the voters this time?
If this doesn’t work, they’ll be shipping in train cars of illegal voters to make sure she wins....
Here is what I got out of this whole exchange.
I thought Dr. Carson did just fine and these “journalists” need to be called out. Most importantly they need to be kept off balance by packaging each response by calling them out on their bias and framing of the question THEN get in your positive vision for the country. Kill two birds with every stone.
ALSO, the interviewer seemed VERY prepared for this exchange and I suspect these mini politburo “meetings” in the newsrooms around the country are buzzin’ with how to combat these evil conservatives and preserving what they think is their unbiased challenging of all candidates. What a joke.
I like this guy today!!! I’d like to see Trump and the others sticking up for him... This is pathetic. They did the same thing to Sarah Palin
I disagree. Smacking around the media slugs is a winning strategy. Trump has proven that.
Yes, you’re right - smacking around the media isn’t at all a negative.
My impression, though, is that he lost his composure, which let them know they can get to him get under his skin. If that’s the case, and they think they’ve found an exposed nerve, they’ll be picking away at it forever.
He’s got to keep his cool, IMO.
It’s NOT calling a liar a liar that I’m talking about.
What I’m talking about is that he gave the appearance of losing his composure in front of them.
If you do that, they’ll keep picking away at the same spot again and again just to see if they can get a rise out of him - just to see if they can make him blow his stack.
Then they’ll brand him “temperamental” or something like that. It won’t be good for his popularity.
