Ever since M. King Hubbert in the 1950s convinced a lot of people with his "peak oil" theory that production would collapse and we'd eventually exhaust our crude supplies, the clock has been running. And running. And it will continue to run for some time, as technology and new discoveries show that there's still an ocean of oil under our feet.

A BP official told the magazine that "energy resources are plentiful. Concerns over running out of oil and gas have disappeared."
Things are so good, in fact, that Engineering and Technology says "with the use of the innovative technologies, available fossil fuel resources could increase from the current 2.9 trillion barrels of oil equivalent to 4.8 trillion by 2050, which is almost twice as much as the projected global demand." That number could even reach 7.5 trillion barrels if technology and exploration techniques advance even faster.
This information backs up the idea that Earth is actually an oil-producing machine. We call energy sources such as crude oil and natural gas fossil fuels based on the assumption that they are the products of decaying organisms, maybe even dinosaurs themselves. But the label is a misnomer. Research from the last decade found that hydrocarbons are synthesized abiotically.
In other words, as Science magazine has reported...

But for now, enjoy our cheap, abundant and efficient "fossil" fuels.

I tried to tell people this when it was first theorized maybe over 30 years ago now.
The fundamental problem is that it is also a libtard producing machine as well.
The abiotic oil creation theory is rising again.
Meanwhile, Saturn’s moon Titan has hydrocarbons on it.
But oil “only” comes from fossil sources.
/ lol.
But we are using it much faster than it is being formed. How long do you think it takes a droplet of oil to migrate to a trap?
Methane is different than oil.
Thomas Gold’s abiogenic oil theory goes back 60 years.
All the ‘smart people’ consider it pseudoscience, some even claiming the idea is Soviet.
People need to checkout abiotic ( abiogenesis) oil theory
Titan doesn’t only have methane.
Thomas Gold ping.

Makes one wonder if maybe Someone designed it that way!
OIL = “Earth Juice”

you convinced me other wise but the theory keeps cropping up
It ain’t earl, that for sure.
Crusty old Earl, sitting there looking disheveled.
Titan is an insufficient oxygen environment.
Methane, Ethane are the lowest energy form Carbon and Hydrogen can take without oxygen.
But methane, Ethane are a far cry from the complex hydrocarbons asphaltenes, paraffins, naphthenes, and aromatics found in crude oil.
Not to mention crude oil is only sourced from sedimentary rock, often found in layers of different qualities, each layer topped by a impermeable cap rock.
And Crude oil actually contains microfossils of Plankton and similar organisms that were trapped in the sediment and eventually broke down to make oil.
Just as we can squeeze oil out of algae today, trapped in the sediment, cooked and squeezed for a few million years, oil is formed and trapped in the layers.
Same here..!
(my dad was a geophysicist)
Thomas Gold had lots of theories. He liked pushing them forward.
He tried to convince NASA the moon was powdered into such a fine material it would not support men or landing craft. They wasted a lot of money on that as well.
makes you also wonder if it wasn’t trillions of years ago....
