The Pentagon is sending F-15Csâsupposedly to fight the ISIS war. But the jets only have air-to-air weapons, and ISIS has no planes. Which means the real adversary is Russia.
The U.S. Air Force is deploying to Turkey up to a dozen jet fighters specializing in air-to-air combatâapparently to help protect other U.S. and allied jets from Russiaâs own warplanes flying over Syria.
Officially, the deployment of F-15C Eagle twin-engine fighters to Incirlik, Turkeyâwhich the Pentagon announced late last weekâis meant to âensure the safetyâ of Americaâs NATO allies, Laura Seal, a Defense Department spokesperson, told The Daily Beast.
That could mean that the single-seat F-15s and the eight air-to-air missiles they routinely carry will help the Turkish air force patrol Turkeyâs border with Syria, intercepting Syrian planes and helicopters that periodically stray into Turkish territory.
But more likely, the F-15s will be escorting attack planes and bombers as they strike ISIS militants in close proximity to Syrian regime forces and the Russian warplanes that, since early October, have bombed ISIS and U.S.-backed rebels fighting the Syrian troops.
Seal declined to discuss the deployment in detail, but hinted at its true purpose. âI didnât say it wasnât about Russia,â she said.
Russiaâs air wing in western Syria is notable for including several Su-30 fighters that are primarily air-to-air fighters. The Su-30sâ arrival in Syria raised eyebrows, as Moscow insists its forces are only fighting ISIS, but ISIS has no aircraft of its own for the Su-30s to engage.

The President has decided that toppling Assad is America's vital interest. He is attempting to use ISIS and other rebel groups to achieve this end. Putin is overtly supporting his ally by attacking ISIS and other groups.
Stated another way, Obama thinks getting rid of Assad is worth: allying the US with Syrian rebels, pretending to fight ISIS, and risking a war with Russia. Do you agree?
Syria is the crossroad for 2 proposed oil & gas pipelines that will transport from the ME to Europe. One pipeline originates in Iran — that one is supported by Syria & Russia. The other originates in the Gulf and is supported by Saudi Arabia and (guess who). This is why Obama has said that the Syrian regime must go. But since no one over here would salute that proposition, the excuse now is “to fight ISIS”.
But of course the guys that we are arming “to fight ISIS” basically ARE Isis. It is there goal to get rid of Asad. That is why the Russians are bombing “our guys”.
There is basically 2 parallel wars going on in Syrian territory. Instead of a proxy war, the real belligerents are, for now, studiously avoiding shooting at eachother. That can’t last.
If this is the case, then the biggest question in my mind is why there was ever a "Bush era anti Assad infrastructure" in the first place?
What’s worrisome is that, unlike Obama, Putin is a crafty chess player who has probably figured out his next several moves if there is a face off in the air. Whatever the outcome of such a dogfight scenario, he is likely prepared to take things to the next level. Based on past history, I doubt Obama is.
And would Obama even authorize our aircraft to fire on Russian fighter planes in the first place? Its doubtful he would in my opinion. He hates the military and just wants to slide out of office with no messy conflicts to deal with. He will cave and leave a mess to his successor.
It might well provide cover and pretext for some innovative actions by the newly wartime president.

Or, it might provide an opportunity for the incumbent to extend his time in office because of a “national emergency” and the “avoidance of a disruptive transition of power”. Never let a crisis go to waste.
“It appears that Barak Hussein is the head of the Moslem Brotherhood In America.”...........
Something we have known for some time, he plainly stated he will side with the Muslimes every time.
This reminds me of an old show, “The Original Amateur Hour” I believe odumbo is really that stupid.
It’s one of several bad things
Saudi Arabia and the muslim brotherhood own the WH CIA and State Department
Or it’s personal with the stupid narcissists obama and Jarrett who are determined to double down on making Syria an islamic state and outraged that Putin would thwart them
Or.... to be continued
So this is what we will be giving air cover for?
Turkish jets carried out new raids on suspected Kurdish rebel targets across the border in northern Iraq, the military said Tuesday as the ruling party pressed ahead with anti-rebel operations after winning a resounding victory in Sunday’s election.
The Turkish airstrikes hit shelters, underground bunkers and weapon emplacements belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, in six locations Monday in northern Iraq, including the Qandil mountains where the rebel leadership is based, the military said in a statement.

“If this is true, someone has got to stop Obama, not Putin.”
Obama and his lapdogs McCain and wife Lindsey are enablers of ISIS and have the blood of Christian Martyrs on their hands, making all Americans share a part in their evil deeds,
“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Revelation 17:6
There is no “or” there.
The airgroup personnel will sport new red curved scimitar patches, and have the callsign "Allah Akbar".
:-)
I think I may have to upgrade to corrugated steel.
It is a choice between the lesser of two evils.
Must leave no trail that leads to our glorious government masters.....just saying.
We would need to ask the muslim brotherhood. Obama seems to follow their wishes.

I would believe you if it were just Obama. But to have the Generals go along with this crap is just crazy.
I do not doubt that we could beat Russia in a face-off. But why would we want to? What national interest do we have in Syria?
I understand our interest in the middle east in General, but Syria’s civil war? It just doesnt make sense.
The pipeline project makes sense. But enough to take on the Ruskies?
What could go wrong???
The pipeline project doesn’t make sense to me. Oil is plentiful and cheap right now. It would make better sense if there was true scarcity.
Obama is being too strongly influenced by the muslim brotherhood. I believe it has more to do with obama’s muslim leanings than oil.
I would prefer that obama be struck by lighting than us losing even one of our soldiers in a conflict with Russia over Syria.
And, by the way, I believe this has as much to do with Turkey than it does Syria. The Turkey leader is one of obama’s good friends. Turkey turns a blind eye to ISIS.
