Colin Cowherd: I want to talk about a lot of things. Most big brands avoid politics. Nike doesn't want anything to do with politics.
Donald Trump: Right.
Colin Cowherd: Donald, you jumped into politics. Were you concerned that it's not good for business?
Donald Trump: Well you know, it's not good for business actually and it's not a positive from that standpoint. But I just felt, I've seen so many things go so bad. You look at what's happening with our country. Whether it's that Iran deal which is such a catastrophe... which could have been good. If you look at our trade deals with all of the different countries that we deal with. They're all terrible. Every deal is terrible. We don't make good deals anymore. And I just looked at it, I love the country, and I looked at it. And I said, I'm going to do it...

That was a really good interview. He was genuinely curious about things rather than just trying to get a soundbyte.
Good stuff, thanks!
First class interview...
. Whether it's that Iran deal which is such a catastrophe...Cruz has got to be walking on eggshells around Trump over his absolute stupidity on that Corker vote.
Lately Trump keeps bringing the Iran deal up and how Israel would be safe with him... It's probably a matter of time before Trump publicly hits Cruz with his pro-Obama, pro-Iran, anti-Israel vote.
Thanks for posting that. It was a good interview.
It’s amazing what a good interviewer can draw out of Trump.
This guy did a credit to himself and Trump.
Excellent interview.
That was probably one of my favorite interviews with Trump. Colin C was so calm, and low key. No gotchas, no looking for a sound byte..Kudos to both.
Cowherd did one of the best jobs period. No agenda that you would notice.
He said NO to Rubio.
Nice interview.
Thanks for posting. (tomorrow view)
I agree. The more I see of Ted Cruz the less excited I am. He was my number one choice until Trump got in.
Now today it comes out that Ted’s tax plan is not so great after all. He omitted the little detail that his corporate tax of 16% is a VAT tax on all business sales and you cannot even deduct wages. What a crock!
Trump’s plan is very good IMO. It will spur growth which we desperately need.
Now today it comes out that Tedâs tax plan is not so great after all. He omitted the little detail that his corporate tax of 16% is a VAT tax on all business sales and you cannot even deduct wages. What a crock! It's worse that that if you're a business owner. Not only would your business be taxed 16% on profits but YOU would pay another 10% on those same profits when you file your individual postcard return
I will take TRump’s plan anyday. It really will jumpstart the economy. Its jobs, jobs, jobs. Is it going to cost some money to get things going again? Of course. Look what it took to get us in the ditch we are in. Its going to take a few years to see daylight.
From what I can see Ted Cruz’s plan will not do a thing to rev up new business. He just did it to get a good CBO score. Its a crock. That’s why he fails to mention it when being interviewed by Brett Baier etc.
Welcome.
Thanks a lot, monkapotamus. I’d never seen or heard of Colin Cowherd before. That was a very good interview. HOORAY Cowherd.
HOORAY Trump
