IDF Intelligence officers have warned Israeli soldiers that the CIA may be trying to gain their confidence to obtain information that could reveal security information. The memo warns soldiers to âbe aware and report any unusual incidents.â The IDF attached to its memo a copy of an article from a Israeli newspaper that once reported that American s serving in the IDF were extensively questioned when they visited or returned to the United States. The American government has ears and eyes in Israel, both on the spy level and within the consulate. One security officer in a community in Judea and Samaria told The JewishPress.com:
"During the Oslo era, a Foreign Service officer called me and started a friendly conversation with small talk. After he figured we were âfriends,â he began to ask details on how a new outpost was receiving electricity and water. I told him to try someone else..."

Micah 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. 3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. 4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. 7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. 10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. [...] 18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
Who are the false Christian churches you mention?
Besides COC, Charismatics, Methodists, Presbyterians, and reform Baptists?
They do the same thing. Maybe better. No worries.
How in the world do you consider the Churches of Christ a false church?
All I have to say is “Jonathon Pollard.”
Any Christian Church that denies God’s Word and His plan for Israel, or propagates Islam like Rick Warren, Jeremiah Wright, and Pope Francis, or churches that embrace homosexuality and homosexual clergy. These types of churches are legion.
Can you elaborate?
People need to be very careful when talking about “false churches”. There are churches with doctrinal issues, but the church also refers to believers. There are many believers in churches that err with the gospel even as there are many saved individuals in the congregation.
Salvation is a singular event decided (and lived) by each individual - not a pastor, denomination, or doctrine. Just throwing that out there although I understand what you were saying.
Yep, two way street.
I understand there are good people in bad churches, however anyone going to a church that embraces homosexuality or abortion or Islam is on dangerous ground. God says, “come out of her my people that you be not a partaker of her plagues...”
The Churches of Christ in no way shape size or form promotes chrislam or homosexuality in there chruch.
I don't have any problem with questioning US citizens who enlist in foreign armies. If for no other reason than to determine citizenship status:
8 USC 1481
(a) A person who is a national of the United States whether by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by voluntarily performing any of the following acts with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality -
(2) taking an oath or making an affirmation or other formal declaration of allegiance to a foreign state or a political subdivision thereof, after having attained the age of eighteen years; or
(3) entering, or serving in, the armed forces of a foreign state if (A) such armed forces are engaged in hostilities against the United States, or (B) such persons serve as a commissioned or non-commissioned officer;
I understand there are good people in bad churches, however anyone going to a church that embraces homosexuality or abortion or Islam is on dangerous ground.
I absolutely agree and my point was a simple reminder to those who might take offense - certainly not a point of confrontation. I am sad at what is happening with so many denominations/churches in the United States and Europe. I am also sad that more Christians do not understand how supporting a denomination that refuses to acknowledge the absolute word of God can help lead people astray.
My wife and I are pretty disillusioned with the corporate church, but we are never disillusioned with the one who counts.
Any church that lays down for homosexuality and for Islam can be viewed pretty clearly as a false church.
If your church is headed in that direction, pray, and let God lead you where he needs you to be.
It may be that he will leave you where you are, to continue the fight from within your denomination, but he will also know when it is time to leave it behind and move to another body from which to continue his work. Let the God lead and be prepared to follow.
I know the Pollard story...but was he taking our information and giving it to our enemies? No he was not. However, this is precisely what we are doing to Israel. Not to mention threatening to blow their jets from the sky when they look to knock out an enemy (Iran) that is committed to destroying them. I do not even recognize the limp-wristed homos running our country and sad to say that I am American when I hear this...
Amen. I agree.
How about threatening to shoot down the Jets of our Allies if they stand up to evil? How about demanding that babies cannot be born in Israel if it happens to be in East Jerusalem? Did Pollard give intel to our enemies? That is precisely what we are doing with Israel. What do you think of that?
Isn’t CIA Director John Brennan a Muslim convert?
Pollard had no control of the information he stole after it left his hands.
We don't know where it ultimately ended up.
He was a traitor recruited by Israel.
Do I blame Israel for spying for their national interests? No. I expect it. It's their job to get information.
Do I blame Pollard for falling for it? Yes. It's our job to keep the secrets.
Yes! You are correct!
