WASHINGTON — President Obama plans to announce a series of small initiatives on Monday intended to make it easier for former prisoners to find jobs and live in subsidized housing, part of his broader drive to remake the criminal justice system.
In a trip to Newark, Mr. Obama will visit a residential drug-treatment center, Integrity House, to highlight efforts to ease the re-entry of offenders leaving prison. He will then convene a round-table discussion at the Newark campus of Rutgers University with Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey and Mayor Ras J. Baraka of Newark. . .
. . .Mr. Obama will direct the federal Office of Personnel Management to delay inquiries into criminal history until later in the hiring process for federal jobs, so that applicants are not rejected before having a chance to impress. Most federal agencies have already taken this step, but a White House statement said it would help ensure that former prisoners “receive a fair opportunity to compete for federal employment.â€
Mr. Obama will not “ban the box†altogether, to use the language of activists who want the federal government and private employers to eliminate the box on job applications asking if a prospective employee has been convicted of a crime. Let me guess....illegals and criminals will get jobs before the legal, unemployed?????
Meaning that law abiding citizens who are not felons and have families are not helped.
Just do a covert background check including fingerprints on everyone who is in the final stages of being hired. That will solve the problem.
With a miserable economy and the reluctance of many employers to hire sociopaths Obama will find good federal jobs for the 6,000 “misunderstood.”
And, of course, these convicted felons will be allowed to vote again for Democrats in future elections.
We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

Keep in mind he also wants to force more affluent areas to build HUD housing. In other words, he is importing criminals to your area.

Doing what the Mob has done for 100 plus years. Now having moved part of their op into the Alinsky WH admin operation. The real outside mob will not like this.

As he said. But they’d be a bunch of city guys who’ve no idea of what they’d be facing.
Some Republican districts need more democrat voters.
They could sell crack in his neighborhood.
I’m sure that is their goal. I wonder if Obie can do that as part of executive action or some kind of Clemency? Like releasing all black inmates over unjust laws and criminal justice system and allowing them to vote?
Also help finding the voting booth(s), I’m sure.
