Hacktivist group Anonymous has begun publishing the personal details of members of the Ku Klux Klan as its campaign of cyberwar against the white supremacist group escalates.
Anonymous, the amorphous online activist collective, last week promised to reveal the identity of 1,000 members of the KKK after coming into possession of the private information through a compromised Twitter account associated with the group.

A Twitter account?
Somehow in our PC world, I find it hard to believe that Twitter allowed a KKK group in the first place.
That was for the poster, not you.;)
As if anyone cares. The KKK has got to be of no consequence nowadays.
John Cornyn is listed as a member.
Sen. Robert C. Byrd C/O
3411 Arlington Blvd
Arlington, VA 22201
I believe he welcomes visitors between sunrise and sunset, daily.
Wouldn’t it be something if one of them is Obama?
Mrs. rktman posted something the other day in reference to him and the founding of the kkk by the dems on her facebook page. WOW! Did she ever get a bunch of vile, nasty, ugly, disgusting verbal assaults tossed at her. I tried to warn her that there’s nothing to be gained by engaging with “those people” because they don’t care. #factsdontmatter.
Anyone dim enough to actually join the KKK deserves all the grief he gets. That kind of stupid is genetic, and needs to be exposed.
LOL! That was the response that Mrs. rktman got from her facebook post. Dems started it 150 years ago but the repubs own it now. And a lot of other nasty comments. :>}
I didn’t even realize they were still in existence.
It's mostly phone numbers. The strange part about these: a lot of the phone numbers are toll-free.
The last one has a number of email addresses. And the strange part about them: most of them are *.ru addresses.
If they really wanted to add some value, publish the names of Klan members from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. I bet we would see the names of a lot of Liberal hero, Dem politicians on the list.”
Byrd, Fullbright and ???????.
Here’s a thought. A Dem operative opens a fake KKK account listing known Republican on it who know nothing of this. Then as “anonymous” her releases the whole deal to cause a scandal. Sounds like something out of the Alinsky playbook.
I suspect 4 out of 5 âKlansmenâ are undercover ATF, FBI, or other agent provocateurs
Kind of like all those “12 year old girls” on the net, looking for sex from old, bald, fat men?
OK, I smell a scam.
I googled the first toll-free number: 800-226-0344. It's the Polk County, FL, Sheriff's office.
Another is for a company that appears to deal with student loan defaults.
A third is for a company that handles payroll and benefits for small employers (less than 50 employees).
This information is bogus, folks.
Be sure to read my posting #35.
Well, one of them isn't. It's on the "Contact Us" page for the KKK. :-)
I'll let you figure out which one, if you are really interested.
Got it. Thanks.
Color me naïve, but I didn't know that the Klan still existed. I figured that after Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) died, so did the KKK.
