I call BS! Bush & Ryan, and the rest of the GOPe, are complicit in our [near, very near] demise!
The constitution means nothing to them except to cynically hide behind its protections while working tirelessly to destroy it for the rest of us.. You can't reason with them, because liberalism/Marxism isn't based on reason, but rather on soppy feelings. You can't bargain with them because 1. they have nothing to offer and 2. they NEVER keep bargains. They have no pity or remorse because they're following their twisted dream - if it ends up with the rest of us living in third world squalor or dead so what - it was for our own good. The don't fear, because they know unlike them we have consciences and aren't going to shoot them (although they'd really like it their beloved blue jackbooted thugs killed us for "owning guns" or "microagression" - whatever that is, etc.)
And they never stop. They never rest. Every new restriction or ridiculous law or tax increase is always a "good first step"
Yes, since that's what they have in store for us.
The leftist don't understand that without the cooperation of the American people, nothing, nothing can be forced upon the American people, not even their socialist laws, agendas, and hostile administrative laws.
I once told a local Sheriff, they could not even patrol our local roads without the cooperation of the people and if law enforcement or this government actually succeeds in pissing off the American people, they (law enforcement) could not patrol our roads without first being in an armored personnel carrier (APC). The Sheriff agreed!
The question at this point is not “if” another American civil war starts, the only question is “when” the American people have had enough and begin to stand up to this out of control and corrupt government!

The difference between liberals of yesterday and those of today is that liberals yesterday were not near to total power.Liberals today are in position to assume total power, indeed have got most of it already. Now they can force their ideology on all and eliminate dissent which is what they have been about since at least Wilson and maybe TR. How can you build a perfect world if there are people carping about your plans for Utopia and refusing to co-operate?

Just started last week. Can’t get rid of it.
When text is copied from elsewhere and pasted here, the slanted type apostrophes in the copied text are rendering as a group of symbols.
If the copied text contains the strictly vertical apostrophes (and if you type text in yourself), then it renders correctly.
I’m not sure what’s causing the white question marks in the black diamonds (it looks like a space bar issue). Those aren’t caused by the slanted apostrophes, but they also appear in copied and pasted text, so there’s something in the text that FR is not recognizing and rendering properly.
I think its a mistake to characterize the republican party as hapless buffoons consistently outplayed by the left.
No one is that stupid. They are collaborators.
