A veterans advocacy group is criticizing the plan to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released by Donald Trump.
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) said the plan was âheavy of rhetoric, light on specificsâ in a statement on Saturday.

Why are you attacking Trump supporters?
Another Paulbot heard from!
For example>
Who are you supporting please?
Cruz.
I despise pandering to all groups, including veterans. We served willingly and got paid for it, and except for those few who sustained truly debilitating wounds, none of us is owed a damned thing by anybody else. A sincere “thank you” is nice, but we didn’t serve for a lifetime of freebies. Abolish the Veterans Administration, for crying out loud! Semper Fidelis...
More from the article, which explains a lot:
“CVA also criticized the GOP presidential hopeful for attacking Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a Navy veteran and Vietnam prisoner of war.
“It’s unfortunate that Donald Trump would release this unserious plan after spending months talking about the VA, even stooping to the level of attacking VA reform leaders like Senator John McCain - a man who has consistently taken the lead in reforming and fixing the VA,” the statement said.”

The Washington Post and the Center for Responsive Politics identified a coalition of allied conservative groups active in the 2012 elections that together raised at least $407 million, backed by a donor network organized by the industrialists Charles and David Koch. Most of the funds originated with two groups, the Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce and TC4 Trust, both of which routed some of the money through a Phoenix-based nonprofit group called the Center to Protect Patient Rights (CPPR).
The makeup of the coalition may change going forward, but in 2012 the network consisted of:
Concerned Veterans for America , which in 2012 held events spotlighting the unemployment rate among veterans and the difficulties members of the military face in casting ballots. The group was funded almost entirely by TC4 in 2012.
Pete Hegseth works for FOX news, LOL
Concerned Veterans is bankrolled by the political network run by right-wing billionaire activists Charles and David Koch, according to an investigation by The Washington Post.

The Libre Initiative Trust , a Mission, Tex.-based group aimed at promoting “the principles and values of economic freedom” to Latinos. It started in 2011.
Exactly. Concerned Veterans for Amnesty and Illegal Mexicans.
Yes, and you would know that if you did not suffer from TDS.
I’m not a trump bot, but to be fair- their current healthcare is far superior to trump’s proposed one how?
Is it possible that they haven't criticized the plans of the other candidates, because they have none?
if you are a veteran are you going to go to a doctor 150 miles a way in vet hospital or are you going to see one closer to home?
______________________________________
We used to go to a hospital close to home until Obama
now we have to travel 180 miles instead of 20...
Obama wont let us go locally...
Many veterans in our area cant get to the VA hospital for tests..
More than the others.
[[Correct me if I am wrong, but isnât he the only who talking about trying to fix things for vets?]]
Exactly
So the Koch brothers are funding a veterans group in order to swift boat Trump. Crony money to rescue RINOs? I wonder who their poster boy is — McCain? It would make more sense if they were demanding all candidates pay some attention to the veterans’ plight. Right now Trump seems to be the only one interested. I give him credit for that.
They appear to be aligned with the GOP-E or RINOs.
[[Think about it, if you are a veteran are you going to go to a doctor 150 miles a way in vet hospital or are you going to see one closer to home?]]
Precisely, and from what I’ve been reading in the past, VA clinics leave a lot to be desired in many cases, with veterans actually dying waiting to be seen- one would think immediate access to some of the best doctors I n the country would be something the veterans would jump at-
But apparently not-
Also, I haven’t seen any other candidate even mention veterans yet (although now that trump has doen so- they will all jump on the bandwagon)
