Poll results so far:
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 21.53% (90 votes)
Former New York Gov. George Pataki 15.55% (65 votes)
Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore 14.35% (60 votes)
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal 11.48% (48 votes)
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush 8.85% (37 votes)
I would say Kasich, pataki or Jindal.
I say Paul.
Keep Jindal and blow off the other four.
Paul need to concentrate on getting re-elected.
I agree with Paul, but Bush is also a possibility, if he had any sense.
Part of the problem is the polls vary so widely. How’s poll numbers are you trusting? Having said that, I think if a candidate has consistently been below 10% they should strongly ask why staying in would matter.
Sorry, should have been who’s polls
Whose
What happened to gilmore? Did he quit? When?
None of the low pollers seem eager to drop out. In some cases—thinking Jindal in particular—the lower the polls, the more determined the candidate seems to hang tough.
Maybe they are hoping a modified debate format will help them. I read that one idea being floated is two debates of equal length, with seven candidates each, the participants in each being chosen at random, and equal speaking time for all. Maybe the less-than-one-percent candidates deludionslly imagine such a format would enable them to catapult into the top tier.

All of the above...My Vote!
Who is funding Lindsey Graham and why?
I’d forgot Santorum was even in the race.
Agreed. I go with Paul and soon Jebbie. The rest probably are not spending much money so they just hang around. Like Huck and Grahamnesty and Kasich etc.
I hope Bush stays to the bitter end, and he and his donors are bled dry.
First, who is Jim Gilmore? I have asked several people that question and so far only Wikipedia knows. And why is he there? Its not that he has a shot to win, he doesn’t even have a shot to be noticed. Maybe he wants to be undersecretary to the government work force who bought homes in Virgina and don’t want to sell them until their kids graduate from college. Anyway, he can easily go, because nobody will care or give him money.
Rand Paul should also go. He has a job. And needs to work a little harder to keep it. Nobody would put him in their cabinet because they would not trust him to follow the Presidents lead.
That goes doubly for Chris Christie. You would never want this guy on your team. He will stab you in the back as soon as its expedient to himself. Some people may give him the job of enforcer like Cheney. But he does not have the cred for that.
Rubio, Bush, Jindal and Pataki are all in it as long as they have other peoples money to spend. As soon as that runs out they are gone. All of them would take the VP job. And frankly Rubio and Bush would be good VPs. The nominee would need Florida and both are popular there.
Kasich who got a good showing during the CNBC debates is also in this class. Why didn’t anybody mention the fact that he was a CNBC contributor. Of course they let him speak. He used to show up on CNBC every week. But he may be able to deliver Ohio. Not likely. But he may be worth 1% or 2% there.
The real issue is, who would even notice. This real life version of American Idol needs to move forward. And nobody cares about the bottom half candidates.
NOBODY drops out.
We need to split the vote so that our Jebbie-boy an BUY the nod, and all that.
Thanks! Haste makes waste and other mistakes ;- )
Remember, all who are running for the office of President can claim income commensurate with the office. So the bottom pollers are seeing a huge pay increase, keeping them in the race at the expense of their donors.
Simple parasites.
Change the tax code and they would be gone already.
