First, who is Jim Gilmore? I have asked several people that question and so far only Wikipedia knows. And why is he there? Its not that he has a shot to win, he doesn’t even have a shot to be noticed. Maybe he wants to be undersecretary to the government work force who bought homes in Virgina and don’t want to sell them until their kids graduate from college. Anyway, he can easily go, because nobody will care or give him money.

Rand Paul should also go. He has a job. And needs to work a little harder to keep it. Nobody would put him in their cabinet because they would not trust him to follow the Presidents lead.

That goes doubly for Chris Christie. You would never want this guy on your team. He will stab you in the back as soon as its expedient to himself. Some people may give him the job of enforcer like Cheney. But he does not have the cred for that.

Rubio, Bush, Jindal and Pataki are all in it as long as they have other peoples money to spend. As soon as that runs out they are gone. All of them would take the VP job. And frankly Rubio and Bush would be good VPs. The nominee would need Florida and both are popular there.

Kasich who got a good showing during the CNBC debates is also in this class. Why didn’t anybody mention the fact that he was a CNBC contributor. Of course they let him speak. He used to show up on CNBC every week. But he may be able to deliver Ohio. Not likely. But he may be worth 1% or 2% there.

The real issue is, who would even notice. This real life version of American Idol needs to move forward. And nobody cares about the bottom half candidates.

He was also a Fox News contributor. That's where I saw him.

Ha! They're so popular that Trump beating both of them combined in the FL polls. Trump won't need them to win FL or anyplace else. Anyway it's far too early to worry about VP picks.
