Just days before Halloween, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) warned that the holiday’s ever-present jack-o-lanterns are killing the planet. Yes, you heard that right. >>>We have been composting just about everything for the past
30 yrs.; but I’m sure they can find some fault with
composting in the never-ending global warming battle.<<<

We’ve been composting for just as long, and here’s the bad news: composting is just a cesspool for greenhouse gas production, especially methane from the breakdown of plant material. I can’t imagine that anything anywhere is good anymore for anyone. Guess I’ll drive off a cliff... no, too large of a carbon footprint. I’ll just sit out in the snow.

Nah. Sitting in the snow won’t do. The rising steam from
your warm body (while you’re still alive) will adversely
affect the environment!

Pumpkins just decompose in any land fill. Those who garden would put them in their compost pile.

If you want to blame something on this stupid climate warming
it’s disposable DIAPERS, Pull Ups both adult and baby, they take 500 yrs to decompose.

Go PUMPKIN PIE!
