A Russian civilian plane with 217 passengers and 7 crew aboard crashed, and is believed shot down by a missile, over Sinai early Saturday morning, Oct. 31, shortly after taking off from the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh for St. Petersburg.
Initial reporting on the fate of the plane was confused and is still not completely clear. It was first reported to be missing after contact was lost with Egyptian air control; it was then said to be safely on its way to Russia over Turkey. Russian aviation sources then reported the A321 to be missing over Cypriot air space.
Finally, the Egytian prime minister's office confirmed that a Russian passenger plane had crashed in central Sinai and a cabinet level crisis committee had been formed to deal with the crash.

Fine. Let these pedophile worshippers piss off Ivan for a change.
The Russians have fewer problems with scorched-earth destruction as compensation for warlike acts than do we.
DEBKA Alert
Wow, if this is true, I wonder if detailed analysis will determine that it was shot down with one of the anti-aircraft missiles that Obama & Hillary had smuggled from Libya to “anti-Assad forces” (i.e., the Islamists).
I don’t know about this, it may be DEBKA misreporting. the London papers are saying the pilot was in communication with the tower about operational difficulties several minutes before the crash and that there were no indications of terrorism.
‘Pootie Poot’ is NOT going to be happy and unlike Obozo, he is a man of action .... I see ‘dead people’ & they’re not in the plane wreckage.
Remember the Maine!
And I’m certain all that Putin will do is issue a strongly worded statement condemning Russia for pushing ISIS into this action because ISIS just wants to be heard and ISIS just wants justice.

or blame it on a video.
And people don’t know why we treat DEBKA as tabloid level reporting.
The pilot reported technical problems before crashing. The aircraft was at 33,000 feet. Only states have SAM systems with that kind of range (i.e., no shoulder-fire SAMs).
Unless it was shot down by a nation’s military unit I’d be included to think this was a mechanical problem, and had nothing to do with any kind of missile attack.
“included to think” should be “inclined to think.”
Isn’t it a little soon to make this allegation?
I do not know if the report of a missile attack is remotely true. Nevertheless, and despite themselves, people in Amsterdam, Malaysia and the Ukraine must be feeling a certain warm glow of Schadenfreude.
I know I am.
Despite myself.
