Uni-party.

All we see is a struggle for power. Both groups have the same objective.

We serfs cannot imagine the amount of wealth and power the elitist have. They get rich, their friends get rich, their children get rich. This is why even the ones who go there with good credentials “change”.

This experiment is over and no candidate is going to change that. Our founders left us with an option but we are all to comfortable and chicken shit to use it.

I haven’t left either, but I think if we don’t pick the right candidate next year then 2016 will be the last national election that the GOP is a relevant political entity. Once conservatives bail the Republicans will be a minority party forever.

I happen to agree with Tom’s sentiment very much.

Let me ask you this Tom. What happens if every Conservative drops out of the Republican party?

Who get’s nominated?

I’d like to see Trump/Cruz 2016, and then between the two of them walk over the K-Street and kick some ass. (politically, it has to be done)

We need a clean sweep of national and state Republican leadership. Then lets clean this place up.

You’re lucky. Pennsylvania where I live does not allow open primaries.

If Tom Tancredo wanted to lead, why didn’t he? No sack?

Sort of like the guys that wait for that “perfect woman” to marry. Sorry guys. There is no perfect woman just as there is no perfect political party. You take the bad with the good.

ON a scale of 10 to 1 with 10 being in America’s best interest, it is up to YOU to decide to support the party nearest that 10. But no party is a 10 just as no woman is a 10.

It’s so easy to understand....

I might consider making that move too, I'd like to be part of a viable third/second party.

Problem is I still want to vote in the primary, so I can vote against Yeb at least once.

Our winning the presidency gets harder and harder ever election with the country turing left. we might have one or two wins left maybe. Dems only have to ensure they get Virginia and Florida. We have much more to do to win.

Many have quit GOP and went Independent. I haven’t been able to make the jump mainly because I want to vote in Primaries and I have been a registered Republican since 18 and really hope they change before I have to.

I've been working the polls for 20+ years. You have to be registered R or D to work them, so I'm stuck. I'd never register RAT.

If that is not a reason for TERM LIMITS and all political donations being made ANONYMOUSLY, what the hell is? They should not be there long enough to establish fiefdoms and they should not be able to sell influence to the highest bidder (you can't sell influence if you don't know who is buying).

Seems to me the democrats in congress go ahead and shove things up our ### whether they lose a majority or not. They can count on the Republicans carrying on their agenda, albeit a slower rate. Healthcare is a good example.

Yes, and no.

I will not vote for someone who agrees on the minor issues but supports "Act of Love" Amnesty. Killing my country more slowly is not enough to get my vote.

I will not vote for someone who agrees on the minor issues but supports Obamacare. Bankrupting my country cannot be balanced out through other good acts.

I will not vote for someone who agrees on the minor issues but supports restricting our God-given individual right to keep and bear arms. Leaving me defenseless against the next thug to come along is a disqualifying position.

I'll take someone who disagrees with me on other issues, but they have to be 100% on the ones that threaten our country's survival.

Trump concerns me on many issues, but I'll vote for him. The same for Carson and Paul. Cruz agrees with me on everything and when we disagree I research my position again to see if I'm wrong. Jeb/Rubio/Christie? Nope. Not crossing that line. Not voting for Hillary to stop the socialist (or vice versa). Didn't vote for Obama just because he'd push us closer to facing the Antichrist and bringing the return of Jesus.

A vote is like attending a wedding or a so-called-"wedding" - it implies some level of support.

Third party, heck I would be pleased if we had a two party system to chose from.

Not what I expected. I expected some “centrist” jumping ship to the DEM party. I can’t recall any other GOP member bailing out because the GOP was too liberal.

I haven't made the jump because I'm too darn lazy.
California is an open Primary (another reason to dump the party -- for acquiescing to that edict), so there is no point to be a registered Republican. I checked the State website for instructions about changing parties, but it was too cryptic and I didn't have the time to dig further. One of these days though - and I'll make the departure formal.

I too left after the 2012 primary was fixed to ensure Romney would be the nominee.

If it end's up Bush this time, we will know the fix is in without a shadow of a doubt.

At that point I will get behind a movement to the replace the Republican Party.

California is worse than an open primary; it's a "top two" primary. Two Democrats will always advance to the general election.

I am actively campaigning against my House of Representative - Jody Hice.

He voted for Boner and for his buddy. He will not get my vote next time. I work to remind him that he represents me and that he has failed that job.

He’s going to work for Cruz so that is good. I think if young people get a chance to know Cruz he could have a following there too.
