Flashing lights and sirens from a police vehicle interrupted a routine Saturday morning walk in my golf-course community in Corinth.

No thank you.
I’m weary of the whole “race” thing.
.
She must have a huge chip on her shoulder.
As for the I.D. question, how many Americans typically carry I.D. with them on their morning walk?
I do, I have an old drivers lic that has my address and on back my wifes cell phone number, it is dumb to go out with no id
Amen.
What if the pickup truck had hit her hard enough that she could not run her otherwise over active mouth?
Contacting her family would have been delayed.
She needs to try thinking while black.
Whining by blacks and liberals about race has become nothing more than background white noise.
Like the far off drone of tires on the highway.
And that is too bad because it drowns out the occasional, but increasingly rare, legitimate problem.
If I walk, I carry ID. What if I got hit by a car?
The thoughts hit me in this order:
1. She looks like she is exercising.
2. Why is she not on the sidewalk?
3. Why is she walking towards the middle of the road.
4. If she insists on walking in the road, she is walking on the wrong side of the road.
Pull up your Big Girl pants, Dot, and get on with it like the rest of us.
I’m sick of the `Poor, Poor Pitiful Me, I’m Black’ Pity Parties.
She may be stupid, but she shouldn’t be harassed by cops in her own neighborhood.
I do. Every time I take the dog for a walk, I pick up my wallet.
My iPhone also has the Medical ID feature that is accessible from Emergency Call screen.
It has information about me, and my wife, daughter, and doctor can all be called directly without unlocking the phone.
I never went out with no ID when I lived in Seattle. Where I live now I DRIVE without id. But only when I’m in my local community, which never sees a cop car, and rarely sees any other car. Heck, it’s a mile to my barn.
If you must walk on the road, always walk against the traffic. You'll see the approaching traffic, and can jump out of the way if they don't see you.
I’m confused as to why the stop took so long. It ended before they asked for ID. At least, it should have.
I thought that the cops were fine. Is she really only 5’4? If so, the cops are rather short.
Easy call. Walking while being self aborbed with one’s own importance.
So you consider what happened here was harassment?
“My iPhone also has the Medical ID feature that is accessible from Emergency Call screen.”
Is that a feature of your phone or is that an app?
Thanks
She should have tried running...while carrying a big-screen TV.
