It`s been suggested by the Freeper at the thread linked, that the LameStream Media needs to be taken out of the loop. Could a Conservative site like Drudge be convinced to sponsor and stream the next debate?
Drudge would have to have permission/contract from the Broadcasting company is my guess.
What if they sponsored and hosted as well as streamed it? All done in house with, of course, the permission of the candidates?
Matt Drudge sponsor a debate, stream live with Conservative moderators like Rush, Levin, Allen West?

The idea is as follows: Drudge gets the GOP and it`s candidates to agree to a purely internet debate, it then arranges a studio, the moderators are chosen from approved and REAL conservative ranks like talk radio,(Rush anyone?) then the questions bank is established based on agreed upon CONSERVATIVE values, they are then picked from that bank by a simple lottery basket and asked equally of all the participants of the debate.
But, there are several companies that do, like:
The GOP should just hire a producer and hold the debate themselves.
They'll own the rights, and can distribute it via YouTube afterwards.
OK, profit is not a four letter word. Let him make something out of it, that`s cool with me! After all, the free market IS one of OUR principles, yes?
Leave out the moderator altogether. Just pre-record the questions with a voice actor, and play the right clip according to the lottery basket.

The debates are a farce, anyway. It's nothing but a series of rehearsed statements.
My proposal:
Note: there's no moderator. The questions are recorded in advance, and all it takes is a technician to press the appropriate button.
The questions are submitted by the candidate. They are free to submit any policy questions they want to be asked (and presumably want to answer). However, you can't ask another candidate a direct question.
The questions are then chosen at random. To prevent abuse, the list of questions and their origin (which candidate submitted it) will be published after the debate. An accounting firm will be hired to select the questions at random from something like a bingo drum, and a technician simply plays the question identified by that number.
kidd subsequently suggested that each candidate should submit a single question for each of a pre-announced set of topics, and then during the debate one candidate's question would be chosen at random for each topic. I actually like that idea better than mine.
It’s very simple. Pick some low-rated cable network that is still on most cable systems/dish. (Field and stream) Supplement with licensing to independent OTA stations in major markets. Buy the time outright (candidates can determine the tab. Reagan paid for all the microphones in the New Hampshire debate, as Bush was low on campaign funds.)
Cool, but give our side`s internet entities a piece of that pie, yes? Why not help out alternative Conservative internet media, not the lamestream?
But make it internet based and you have something! I DON`T want to help put ANYMORE cash into the LAMESTREAM ENEMY`S pockets, after last night, let them pound sand!
The Internet is the medium of the future, whether or not a cable channel hosts some of it, it must be on-line to make a critical point: WE DON`T NEED THE DINOSUAR BROADCASTING ENTITIES!

I'd grant everyone anyone the right to rebroadcast it LIVE without commentary -- let networks like OAN use it to bring viewers to their channel.
I'd also grant anyone the right to use a YouTube clip, as long as it was played in full with no commentary or interruption during the clip. The producers could split the broadcast into one question per clip, followed by all of the candidates answers. That would prohibit people from using a quote out-of-context, and give every candidate an opportunity to be heard.
Finally, I'd grant each candidate the right to use the questions and their answers (one, a subset, or all) into a video to be used by the campaign.
Last night’s debate had 14 million viewers. The bandwidth needed to stream to 14 million viewers at one time would be enormous and expensive.
And .. it should be moderated by Rush, Levin and Hannity.
Then, maybe we would get some really good information about our candidates, instead of a clown-like carnival/circus; that’s CNBC.
Depends on who those ‘powers’ are? The internet couldn`t care less, and would actually like it.
