Gannett, so link only: http://www.pressconnects.com/story/news/local/new-york/2015/10/29/dead-entolled-health-exchange/74807200/
Are you in the plan? Or is it news to you too?
Inigo Montoya: He’s dead. He can’t talk.
Miracle Max: Whoo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there’s usually only one thing you can do.
Inigo Montoya: What’s that?
Miracle Max: Go through his clothes and look for loose change.
It is Halloween week, and NY is running a special for Zombies.
You could call being dead a health condition.
Exactly. But that won’t stop the government from trying to treat it.
If the dead are enrolled in the NY health care exchange, then they should be included in any assessment of its success rate.
Fair enough?
Well it is an O-care inspired health exchange..could be that the people were NOT dead when they signed up,,but died while on it. I wouldn’t be surprised.
Are the merely dead or are they sincerely dead?
A munchkin wants to know.
Hey, the dead can vote in Binghamton and other parts of the Empire State - why not give them health care as well? ;-)
I’ve been offered free unlimited elective abdominal surgery in exchange for my participation in the program. I’m corruptible.
wow! you could have an appendectomy every month
Since they most likely do not suffer (any longer) from debilitating ailment & disease, then the small amount of 'preventative care' type of universal coverage mandated by ObamaCare (no pun intended on the 'man date' aspect, but woops, there it is) will inevitably be singled out as one of the primary causes for future reductions of the need for more intensive health care procedures, thus showing evidence of the same mandated preventative provisions in O-Care having led to overall improvement in public health, as will be evidenced by future statistical extrapolation.
Statistics don't lie.
That Jonathan Gruber...what a genius, huh?
[and if you think my opening paragraph was complex, and nearly indecipherable, try reading the Affordable Care Act]
All things considered, the dead are very economical as part of the health care program, provided, of course the money keeps coming in. They don't complain about every sniffle, or even degraded organs and broken bones.
Hahaha....
It certainly has raised my blood pressure a few notches and I expect it to do even more in the coming years.
My wife and son are not covered by my insurance plan at work. So we have to deal with the mess as options and choices dwindle away and prices continue to climb.
What a mess!
