Yes. They can do it how they like.

Dump the RNC.

Prince Rebus and his gang of jokers are not needed.

...a manager for a top GOP campaign ...

Keep trying to kick the football Charlie Brown. Everyone but YOU saw this coming and tuned in, not to wonder if the ball would get kicked, but laugh at the obvious result.

I couldn’t believe that comic book villain comment by one of the moderators against Trump, right there they should have stopped the whole debate. Blatant obvious hardcore bias.

Sadly, the Fox debate can’t be held out as an example.

Incredibly stupid on the part of the Republican Party to allow their candidates to be ambushed over and over!

Last night illustrates a theme I have been pushing since before the first "debate".

These spectacles are not debates, they are forums.

Furthermore, the forum agenda is not driven by issues important to the good of the country. Instead, the questions are posed by self-important "talking heads" who seek air time for their own agendas.

This is a really good idea.

Note now how the various campaign bots will come to this thread to trash talk because this idea did not come from THEIR guy’s camp instead of backing up what is a really good idea

Actually, I think biased moderators help well-prepared candidates (Cruz, Trump and Rubio) who attack back. The media is exposed in those moments and people like that overwhelmingly.

In a perverse way, what happened last night when the candidates attacked the moderators, turned the event into something relatively useful. Bennett is right, the candidates are not “prize bulls” to be lead up on stage by Rancid Penis and the RNC! Somehow, the RNC needs to be “taken over by real conservatives,” as they are there currently to do the bidding of the GoPee.

Where was all of the outrage from the other candidates when Trump took the rage from Meygyn and Wallace?

They have been letting Carson slide by until he hit “front runner” status and he can’t take it.

He should have to walk a mile in Trump’s shoes.

The COnservative candidates should organize their own debates with Conservative personalities as the moderators, such as Rush, Levin, Hannity, maybe even (choke) O’Reilly.

A..call for change?

Seriously, can we break out the emergency big boy pants and add a tiny bit of fertilizer so someone can grow a pair?

How hard is all of this? Buy a couple hours of prime time on some network, hire a moderator, vet out some questions, and then engage in a debate.

No GOPe involved, no need to include the little table, and easily self-financed from the various family-of-politician-charity-slush-fund superpacs.

Want to make it actually riveting tv? Tackle topics like paying to put food in gas tanks, the replacement of personal charity with government seizure and redistribution, or do something marvelous, spend the first hour just trashing liberal ideas like ‘free college.’

This isn't rocket science.

Great thread.

“The Times They Are A-Changin’”

Come gather ‘round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won’t come again
And don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who
That it’s namin’
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There’s a battle outside
And it is ragin’
It’ll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don’t criticize
What you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin’
Please get out of the new one
If you can’t lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin’.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin’
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin’.

(again)
