One more night. Give him just one more night...
ha, ha, just watched it, it´s hilarious, thanks.
Drum and bass rap dubstep album?
Whodathunkit?
Maybe he can write another song about homelessness since that issue goes away anytime a Democrat is president.
I think he donated them to the museum at the Alamo.
Al Stewart may be the most fascinating rocker of all time.
His works were steeped in history, much of of it esoteric.
I loved the piece he did about Nostradamus. And “Road to Moscow” is an under-appreciated masterpiece.
If Huey Lewis came back as Charlie Brown he would be Phil Collins.
GOOD GRIEF! I guess it would hip for him to be square.
Just shoot me. Genesis ended with Peter Gabriel.
He was known as the Cabbage Patch Doll of Rock and Roll back in the ‘80s.
No, they really died when Steve Hackett left.
I saw Hackett a year ago and seeing him again in December, he is doing a fantastic job of carrying the torch.
As for Stewart, I really liked “Time Passages”. One of my favories.
As for Collins, someone asked if anyone would pay to see the old fart.
Count ME as someone who would!!
However you look at it, The Lamb lay down on Broadway. ;-)
I thought it was his voice.
Phil hadn’t even drummed full-time on tour since Peter Gabriel left, he would drum during the Instrumental parts of songs.
Amazing stuff watching Phil and Bill Bruford together during the Trick of the Tail tour.
Duke was a GREAT album (if you leave out ‘Misunderstanding’).
No it wasn’t. Phil Collins was singing. See my original response,
I’m sorry, but “Duchess/Guide Vocal” and “Heathaze” are as good as anything from the Gabriel era. And IMHO “A Trick of the Tail” is their best album over all.
The first time I heard “Ripples” I literally had tears in my eyes.
I think more than anything, I missed Tony’s acoustic piano playing.
To me, Al is far and away the greatest, and I like his music more than his lyrics, if that’s possible. BTW, Gerry Rafferty was quite the talented Scotsman too. Great voice. Shame that he’s gone.
