It would be interesting to know where it was originally tethered.

Actually that concept of a blimp carrying an under-belly radar is quite old....they used one at Ft. Huachuca for years to detect movement across the Mexican Border.
With it being tethered by a Kevlar-type cable and power conductors, the radar in the blimp can be powered.

It would be interesting to know where it was originally tethered.Or who was responsible for making sure it stayed tethered.

It’s bad enough when you lost the TV remote. When you lose the JLENS remote, bad things can happen.

They kept mentioning Maryland, and had Aberdeen labelled on the Fox News map, so I guess Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Now isis/isil/is/goatf**kers know what our new strategy is. They’ll be looking for these. At least a helium balloon with a cable should be cheaper than missile.

The Kremlin has an obvious interest in undermining this program, so you’ll see their bought and paid for agents in the conspira-lie industry beating it into the ground for months to come.

I have the distinction of busting the Aberdeen restricted airspace and forcing a cease fire on the mortar firing range. I had no idea until I was told by the tower to call them on the phone after my passengers got off the plane.
This story makes me feel a little less ashamed.

Yeah, probably. Someone finally whispered in the info babe’s ear that helium is not combustible and that hydrogen is. Guess she flunked 7th grade science.
