A document has been unearthed proving John Harwood, the left-wing moderator of Wednesday nightâs CNBC debate, lied when he attacked Senator Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) over his tax plan â and that document is Harwoodâs own tweet from just two weeks ago.
Hereâs the false gotcha Harwood launched at Rubio:
The Tax Foundation, which was alluded to earlier, scored your tax plan and concluded that you give nearly twice as much of a gain in after-tax income to the top one-percent as to people in the middle of the income scale. Since youâre a champion of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, donât you have that backward?
Rubio immediately hit Harwood back: âNo, you wrote a story on it, you had to go back and correct it.â
Harwood laughed and lied again, âNo, I didnât.â
Except Harwood did. Hereâs Harwoodâs own tweet from just two weeks ago:

A man with ANY honor would resign by tomorrow morning. But Democrats, especially incredibly-biased Journo-lister's just won't do that, will they.
It is ludicrous to call Harwood a journalist- he is nothing but a Dim hack. The arrogance is stunning.
Harwood never has a moment on CNBC when he isn’t openly lying and supporting democrats,he is a hack and always has been your right.
I wish Rick Santelli would jump to Fox then I can quit watching altogether
This artifact shows up all over the introductory text:
Hereââ¬â¢s
Can someone tell me what it is and how does one get rid of it?
Turnabout is fair play, the debate moderators of the GOP primary debates should take a pledge to support the GOP nominee in the general election.
Tired of Democrat activists “choosing” the least conservative for the party.
These were the absolute worst moderators ever.
Blatantly slanted. Completely unprepared. Some did not even know there own sources. Throwing out clear leftist, unfounded dribble. Seeking so obviously to set the candidates onto each other. Very disrespectful and full of themselves.
That last interruption of, and attempt to refute Trump during his closing comments was so beyond the pale.
Clearly, these people thought it was their job to debate the candidates instead of having the candidates engage in any debate.
Very sophomoric.
It was an unfolding irony that the “moderators” who delivered their questions with derision and condescension, were clearly the stupidest people on camera that evening. Most of the time, these ventriloquist dummies are satisfied to smile and repeat other people’s words. This is what happens when pretty faces start to believe anybody wants to hear their thoughts.
Boom!
A staffer corrected it and he doesn’t follow his own Twitter feed. Classic.
My fave though was Carson on Kelly saying the debate was on “an obscure network.”
Instead they’ll promote him for being so humble and upright and all...
Key words: “NBC”, “Lied”.
He also lied like hell about Trump not getting the debate lowered to two hours. The guy is a jerk, pure and simple.
I understand the sentiment, but the Fox moderators were worse. I expected garbage from the CNBC moderators. I was honestly disappointed in Baier and Kelly. Chris Wallace is a weasel, so he was no surprise. But up to that particular day, Baier and Kelly had done fairly good impersonations of professionals.
Every time I see this stuff I think of the song, “Dirty Laundry”.
“Well, I could have been an actress but I wound up here. I just have to look good, I don’t have to be clear...”
He’s a liar and one without class
The debaters would not let it pass
They all got really pissed
At this fake journalist
And John Harwood was handed his ass
There are a few people on CNBC that just look at financial and economic facts, but not enough of them.
You and me both. I like Santelli- the founder of the Tea Party on CNBC? Why, Rick, why?
Why does the republican party agree to have democrats run their debates? I’ve never seen Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin or anyone else moderate a democrat debate.
Does anyone see this artifact below?
ââ¬â¢t.ââ¬Â
If so, is it happening on your computer too? It only happens on the Free Republic web site. Also, I am getting this warning that I am on a virus attack site. I read other posts about the attack site warning. Could the artifact also be a part of it?
Harwood, the new Candy Crowley..?
This Harwood character somehow wound up being the most obnoxious inquisitor I have seen at ANY debate. And the other two were shameful in their own ways, with their CNBC-authorized make-believe “expertise” on just about everything.Still, Harwood left the worst taste in my mouth—a punk and a attack-dog rolled into one.
