The Dems will make sure he gets it...
No doubt in my military mind...

It is over, they caved and elected him after he promised not to let any immigration bill ass the house floor while Obama is President. It doesn’t matter though because they funded Obsma’s executive orders.

The Whig Party was a political party active in the middle of the 19th century in the United States of America. Many of the early Presidents of the United States were members of the Whig Party.[1] Along with the rival Democratic Party, it was central to the Second Party System from the early 1830s to the mid-1850s.[2] It formed in opposition to the policies of President Andrew Jackson (in office 182937) and his Democratic Party.
In particular, the Whigs supported the supremacy of Congress over the Presidency and favored a program of modernization, banking and economic protectionism to stimulate manufacturing. It appealed to entrepreneurs and planters, but had few subsistence farmers or unskilled workers. It included many active Protestants, and voiced a moralistic opposition to the Jacksonian Indian removal policies.

If I were Ryan, I would delightfully flip them the bird and leave the room.
To: Kenny
Watch the Dems "reach across the aisle" to support Boehner, er, I mean, Ryan. But watch even more closely and you'll see "just barely enough" of them cross over to do so.

I think the main problem of the conservatives is they don’t have anybody to put up that can get the 218 votes. They are eventually going to get stuck with Ryan.

TFC has about 40 members.
This means more than half of them voted for Paul’s nomination.

Paul Ryan nominated, but fails to get 218. They’ll try again tomorrow. I imagine phones will be ringing off the hook tonight.

Not to worry, tomorrow he will receive the needed 218 votes from Republicans
Ryan is a good conservative and as conservative a leader as can garner the necessary votes to be elected. Everybody know this and his final vote will be near unanimous.
