Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has confirmed that the Turkish military has attacked Kurdish fighters in northern Syria.

The Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) said Turkey shot at its forces in the town of Tal Abyad on Sunday.

The YPG has been a key ally of the US in fighting the so-called Islamic State (IS) group in Syria.

Turkey fears advances by the YPG near its Syrian border could fuel separatist sentiments amongst Kurds in Turkey.

The attacks come amid increasing tensions in Turkey ahead of elections

"We said the [YPG-aligned Democratic Union Party] PYD will not go west of the Euphrates and that we would hit it the moment it did," Mr Davutoglu told Turkish ATV television late Monday.

they’re pieces of garbage. Them and the mosque ergodan built in Maryland.

I fear all out war will come upon us in the near future.

We have kurds as ally and enemy, it appears.

Russia can’t let ISIS and islam spread further towards its borders.

Europe is on the verge of catastrophe.

We’re testing China in the Spratleys.

Handing Iran enough money to finance its many proxy wars,

A degraded army with a fruit as it’s new head.

A narcissistic president who loves muslims and gay rights and marxism. Who knew such a thing was possible.

A generation under thirty half of whom say they would move to another country if they could, so I dont think a draft would produce the results of WWII.

Syrians, Iranians, Russians, Americans, Kurds, Turks, ISIS and other rebel groups all fighting in one country in some form or another.

i hope i’m wrong on everything.

The primary problem is NATO. Turkey shouldn't be in it. NATO was only supposed to provide defense for western Europe. Now, they've had involvement in Libya, Turkey against the Kurds, and in eastern European countries, poking the bear.

Meanwhile, Europe is over-run by "migrants" and its civilization is crumbling from within. It's all so Ancient Rome.

Someone should give the Kurds stinger missiles to shoot down the Turkish planes.
