I am providing these links to a couple of key strategies the left is using at this moment to push their agenda more militantly as well as rhetorically
Cloward-Piven - Social attack...

"Their article called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act. This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements -- mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown -- providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory."
Saul Alinskys 12 Rules for Radicals http://www.bestofbeck.com/wp/activism/saul-alinskys-12-rules-for-radicals
We need to know how our adversary thinks and their tactics and ours to thwart them
Cloward-Piven is what is happening with the illegal alien problem and the “refugee” problem in Europe. Leftists communicate with each other across the world but especially between the Unites States and Europe.
Don’t sell Marx and Lenin short.
Thank you for posting this! Knowledge is power..
The Europeons worshipped Obama as devoutly as anyone in the US news media. Now they’re getting Cloward-Pivened. Elections have consequences.
.
I first learned of this through Glenn Beck.
While Alinsky was a community organizer who achieve fame working in the ghettos, his “Rules” are not inherently “left”. They are tactics for persuasion and building support for ideas that can be applied by anyone regardless of political orientation.
The ‘tolerant’ left isn’t exactly so ‘tolerant’.
Alinskey seems to have changed the happy harmless hippy.
Time to start fighting back with equal vigor.
Well said, Labels mean nothing to a Political Chameleon...
DTN Cloward-Piven Resource Links Lots of info here.
The most commonly used Alinsky Rules: (Watch Hillary use them.):
RULE 1: Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.
RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
RULE 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon.
RULE 8: Keep the pressure on. Never let up.
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Rules 4, 5, 8, and 12 have been used to greatest effect by the Left.
If your opponent [has a hot temper], seek to irritate him. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. Attack him where he is unprepared; appear where you are not expected. (Book I, Verses 22-24)
Education is the Key!
Anyone can use the rules...theoretically.
But this is the playbook of American “radicals,” who were very much leftists.
The nature of his book is how to overthrow the establishment, destroy it from within to create a vacuum at which point a new (socialist/Marxist/communist) government would take over.
Conservatives (traditional Americans) would never think of using these “rules” because our goal is not to destroy but to build up, strengthen, protect, and to pass on a country and culture that we think provides the greatest amount of potential for prosperity, potential for happiness while maintaining the greatest amount of freedom.
We don’t tend to be subversive as the Left, mainly because we know we are in the majority and that we don’t need to subvert and undermine anything. We can can truthfully present our case with the relative confidence that anyone with a thinking mind will see it is the best system available.
The Leftists who would employ these “rules” do so because they know if they were to truthfully present their end-game scenario, what the country (even the world) would look like if they got everything they wanted, that the populations would hang them from the nearest lamppost.
As I said, yes, theoretically anyone can use this strategy, it was definitely defined by and delivered to Leftists to use as their instruction manual for destroying America and replacing it with a Soviet-style State.
Alinsky was a big fan of Machiavelli. He also spent time hanging out with Chicago gangsters. He also dedicated his writings to Lucifer.
Nothing new, just rinse {a la 1934 Cartoon} & repeat {via ClowardPiven Strategy proposed / readopted in 1966}.
