MATT LAUER, "TODAY" SHOW: I went back and read from your book, The Art of The Deal. You wrote this: 'I play to people's fantasies. I call it truthful hyperbole. It's an innocent form of exaggeration and a very effective form of promotion.' Would it be fair to say that that describes your campaign to date?

What did Trump say in response?
Don’t you love how they harass Republicans with questions that could apply to any politician, but they treat the worst scumbag Democrats like altar boys.
Matt Lauer, carrying the water for the Dems. I HOPE Trump responded with ‘ ARE YOU KIDDING ME??’
Well, gee, Matt.....what about this:
“Worst economy in the last fifty years”
“With our healthcare plan, costs and premiums will actually do down”
Did you ask those questions, Matt?
He did fine. When Trump started laying out specific details in response you could see the fear in lauer’s eyes, after Trumps comments he said nothing and threw it over to his partner in crime Willie Geist.
Matt Lauer is a putz who lives in a completely isolated bubble from the real world. His limo picks him up from his multi-million dollar mansion or townhouse in New York city, he does his show for a couple hours then he takes a helicopter to the Hamptons to watch a polo match and air kiss the plastic surgery deformed liberal freaks. They said each chopper ride costs him $3000, so round trip is $6000. This is a guy who does nothing else but get his arse kissed day after day. At least Trump is out there busting his hump to make this country a better place. I bet Lauer would be hospitalized for exhaustion if he spent even 2 days following Trumps schedule.
“Republicans want grandma to eat dog food”
Basically it was a stupid question IMO designed to undermine Trump....of course. I wish Trump would have dismissed it as such, scolded lauer and said “next question” without dignifying it with an answer.
LMAO...you gotta love how Trump throws it right back at them and they are speechless....they haven’t had a candidate for so long that they can’t manage and are at a loss as to what to do!!!
GO TRUMP GO!!!
I see nothing wrong in what Trump said in his book.
Trump is obviously appealing to people’s imaginations using innocent hyperbole. Every politician does that, 99 % lamely or insultingly.
How many times have you heard a politician say he will “fight”? It’s ridiculous, but it is like background static because it is so tired and unimaginative.
Trump is more artistic and psychologically clever than any other politician. He uses single words to successfully convey broad meaning (for example, “energy”, “sweat”).
My reaction: I want this guy on my side.
ummm ...
I really don't want to see what happens next.
I CAN'T THINK OF A SINGLE THING IN OUR FAILING COUNTRY THAT IS BETTER TODAY THAN IT WAS IN 2008. ZERO.
More States now have “shall issue” or “constitutional” concealed carry laws than in 2008. More people own guns now than did in 2008. More people are now trained in shooting than were in 2008.
Food for thought ...
My mind has evolved into calling Trump....The man with 100 hats. He just has such an extensive repertoire and he’s a problem solver and I believe, an honest broker and patriot.
I NEVER watch Liar Lauer or klinton operative Little Georgie Stephanopolous except when forced to do so at the doctor's office, etc., but I'd pay good money to get the chance to do a tap dance on their faces!
I would imagine there are more than a couple of Repub candidates wishing they’d have begun by handling the media the way Trump has. That’s the beauty and freedom of not being beholden to anyone. At the very least we get to enjoy SOMEBODY sticking it to the lib media and giving them a taste of there own medicine.
You do know the difference between “naked” and “nekkid” right? : )
