I do know some Republicans who were finally utterly disgusted with BUSH at the end with the bailouts.
I first became disenchanted with George W. Bush, when I realized that he had no intention of halting illegal immigration or securing the Mexican Border. It took a long time for this to settle in my mind because I had been extremely enthusiastic in my support of him and the entire Bush Family. I had predicted that Jeb would succeed George W. and that George P. would eventually be elected President. I was a VERY STRONG BUSH SUPPORTER!
I HAD WANTED TO SEE THE BUSHES ON MOUNT RUSHMORE!
When I realized that I had become disillusioned, I posted it here on FreeRepublic. I was deluged with criticism from Bush loyalists. Since then, the Bush loyalty has disappeared. Today no one criticizes posts that disparage the Bushes.

How appropriate a comparison. IMO, all nutrition and hydration to the campaign should be cut to let the campaign die with dignity - just like Jeb let happen to Terry Schiavo.
I thought he was a cut above his dad who led to Bill Clinton. I still don't regret defending Geo W. at the time and as we thought things to be. It wasn't until the end of his term and his "to big to Fail" scheme, that turned me against him.
