HOUSTON -- Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush went after 2016 rival Ted Cruz over the weekend at a campaign stop in Charleston, South Carolina, by portraying the Texan as hypocritical and two-faced.
"The guy (Cruz) that made this comment was supportive of the guy (John Roberts) he was critical of," Bush told Rep. Tim Gowdy and the audience at Bishop England High School. He was referring to the moment in the second Republican presidential debate in Californiawhen Cruz said, "Yes, it was a mistake" for President George W. Bush to have nominated Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court. Cruz had weighed in after Bush was asked to account for his brother's nomination of Roberts who some conservatives have derided for upholding Obamacare.
Without ever mentioning Cruz's name -- possibly a sign of tact, dislike, or both -- Bush explained with some sarcasm, "He literally supported John Roberts and then after the fact, with the power of hindsight, this amazing power that only people in Washington have, the rest of us apparently don't have this skill.
"He can opine the way he wants," Bush went on. "Anyway," he paused, "that's what I think about that."

“Barbara, you best take your son and slap the heck out of him because if you don’t its going to make your family look as bad as the Clinton Crime Family does...”
Babs is probably the core of the rot in that whole clan. Sort of a political Shelob.
I'm taller than you all. Tippie toe Tippie toe
Poor Jeb, that makes him look so foolish.
I am a CRUZ supporter; but I do find Mr. TRUMP to be an acceptable alternative if Senator CRUZ does not make the cut to primary day elections.
One other thing; Gibbering Jeb will never get a vote from any one in my family, but you should tell his mother not to slap him to hard, probably would kill one of the only two brain cells he has.
You know, I voted twice for GWB as did my husband (a conservative Democrat since his childhood) and I think he was a decent man who tried to do the best he could do. It’s hard for me to believe that he did it to enrich his family and friends but I’m naïve that way. I still believe he was a good man who was misled by Karl Rove and others.
Jeb, of course, is defending his failing dynasty as are the Kennedys and I hope the rising corrupt dynasty of the Clintons. Luckily, the Clintons are not into reproducing like either the Kennedys or the Bushes.
Forest Gump!!!!
It'll reappear should he miraculously get the GOP coronation. Gotta be nice to the Dims and lose graciously, you know.
As did most here on FR, until he swore in the ineligible Usurper.
And yet I still like Cruz more than you.
I think everyone believed John Roberts to be more conseravtive than he is. Big deal! John lied and became a Benedict Arnold. I’m a Trump supporter as well, but, this in no way is damning to Ted Cruz.
Jeb, this is really weak, man. Nothing “two faced” about Cruz. Roberts is the one who is “two faced”, if anyone.
Its IQ envy, Ted has a high IQ and Jeb is for common core, math for dummies
Jeb! has reached a place few people reach with me ... the very sight/sound of him makes me physically nauseous.
*************************
Agree. I hit the mute on Jeb and now find myself doing the same with Ben Carson and his holier than thou attitude.
Cruz should slap Little Yebbie across the puss.
Little Yebbie would soil his Big Girl Panties...
Reason number 1428 to not vote for Jeb Bush!!!
LOL!
