Didn't the country once disappear from the map, but the spirit of the people couldn't be destroyed. And later in history, it was Lech Walesa who brought down Soviet dominance of Eastern Europe. Good to see the voters showing some sense of history.
I'm looking for a name that has disappeared from politically correct lists of famous women. Poland had a great tradition for a school of Logic and Mathematics in the late 1800s. There was a female mathematician who travelled around Europe at the time when non-Euclidean Geometry was being developed in various universities. It is said she shared secrets as pillow talk and was perhaps responsible for the sharing of ideas that lead to simultaneous developments in NonEuclidean Geometry.
Lists of female mathematitians through history have been made so dull by the censors. I can't even find her name.
This is good, go Poland! These former east bloc countries don’t want to be under totalitarianism again, they know Islam is a threat, and, unlike some Western and Anglophone countries I won’t mention here, they still know that marriage is between a man and a woman. They may be able to save their cultures. Of course, they need to resist both threats and bribery from the EU and Obamamerica.

That is good to know. The One World policy of deliberately injecting masses of Islamic dregs into Europe is going to backfire. The EU needs to be dissolved and representative government returned to real Europeans.

Apparently at Merkel and Juncker’s mini-summit in Brussels, where they’ve dragged many Eastern Europeans countries to.
Merkel is saying horsecrap like, if this isn’t solved, if we don’t all agree - with her of course - then the EU is going to collapse.
Yeah whatever, if Merkel gets her way the EU IS going to collapse.
Not in a way that we want though, we don’t want destruction and civil war, which is what she’s going to give us.
We want each a return to nationhood and borders and passport controls. We carry on just trading with each other and getting along with each other as before....but without Brussels ruling and issuing directives and threatening everyone.
In short, we return to respecting each other.
